I know because I was one of the people that came at you at first...although I never remember taking it personal with you as I try not to attack people personally, especially over basketball opinions.
Disappointing in playoffs? Aside from series performance via spurs. Where do u think harden disappoint the Rockets? Game 6/7 vs curry, klay, kd and green w/ sht refs w/o cp3? When harden falters, y do folks ignore context? Hammy injured harden with the Nets? Harden without embiid? Asiansensation doesn't just btch about harden being choker, he literally btches every single game thread when harden was here. Now he btches, about harden basically every game thread, that doesnt even involved harden. Asiansensation stance is simply harden is a bum that can't win it all. That's such a sht take. U can literally apply to more then half the players in the league. The moment u refer harden as a bum, that ain't real critcism that just straight up hatin. Not everybody can win a ring. Ask the many great HoFs w/o one. U don't see the word bum being used to "criticized their game" or as a word to describe them.
Pulled into this Harden debate because it's silly. You've even admitted that Harden is to blame for this narrative multiple times the past year or so. I think you actually agree with @Asian Sensation more than you'd like to admit just that it's gotten personal. Harden ALSO had breaks. Spurs series when Kawhi went out. Warriors series when Durant went out. It really didn't matter. Those were huge breaks...and that spurs series will always be the biggest stain on his legacy. He basically got outplayed by like a 50 year old Manu Ginobili. Only time I've seen him really go out was the first series against GSW, they weren't a dynasty or anything then, but he put up two huge efforts and if he had just a bit more help Rockets go up 2-0 going home...I'm not sure why that series was different, maybe McHale pushed the right button at the right time... Like I said, I won't have sympathy for it. I was on here called a "Westbrook Only Fan" simply because I dared to give a HOF player his due and not agree that he was a bum that was garbage at basketball and had no real skills. I would say the same things, how is a guy like that a bum that can't play basketball??? I thought it was garbage take too. But Harden had those two breaks, BIG breaks, who knows what happens if Harden's Rockets took advantage of those breaks, but he didn't. The idea that every championship run is perfect is a myth, all these teams deal with players going in and out of playoff games. Your team rallies and wins a game, extends the series, do what it takes to win...that's the stuff champions are made of. It's not COMPLETELY Harden's fault, sure, I don't like scapegoating any one player for a team's failure, especially one as great as he has been, but he didn't go out on his sword in many of these series. If the Grizzlies lost game 2 for example not a single person would have said "Ja didn't do enough," that's what people have wanted to see from him. Did CP3 fold when Booker was out? Bucks missing Middleton, they were still able to steal a game. Last post on this for the night, last point...but this whole "Harden is aging" isn't really a compliment. He's 32, if his play this year is because of his aging I'm not sure that's a good thing. He should still be in his prime at 32, his prime should be for another 3 seasons. If he's already so well past his prime that you have to wonder if he gets the max...I don't know, something is wrong there. Maybe it's just an injury he's playing through...but I do think Philly fans expected a lot more from him.
Disagree if you want but 4 points total in the second half of each of the first 2 games is quite “bum”tastic if you ask me.
When Father Time came for T-Mac The TOFs were in denial like a river in Egypt It’s over man. You ain’t paying Maxey to be the high scorer !
You acting like Embiid came with Harden at birth.... Like we can't possibly judge Harden on his poor play without Embiid being a factor.... Embiid is going to be the first one to ask Philly mngmt to trade Harden as far away as possible.... The series is still young, its only two games... Harden can still- Ok I cant anymore
but he didn't go out on his sword in many of these series. Aside from the spurs series. What series are u talking about that Harden went out with a whimper Series kd went out. Harden scored 35, 29, 41, 38, 31 and 35. A player putting up that much points isn't going out with a whimper. Harden tried vs gsw and he failed, like so many other teams. But is only one called a bum/choker for it. It's all about context. Folks don't like harden will call him a choker regardless. This series, a clearly declined Harden is being called a choker. Conveniently ignores that the best player on the 76ers is out. 4th seed playing vs 1st. We have dummies like salvy telling me that the loss of 36 year old Lowry offsets the loss of mvp candidate embiid and its Harden fault for not carrying.
Lol, really? I have called him a bum choker? I can be objective about it. Other people cant. They try to rewrite history on the guy. I will call him out on his bad play but Im also not gonna blame every single thing on him. Lots of players have stains on their legacy man. Lebron in 2011, Kawhi in the bubble, Curry blowing a 3-1 lead. KD blowing a 3-1 lead. Chris Paul blowing a 3-1 lead. Im not gonna into this. What I want to really say is that the dude you are referring to has never spoken in an objective manner nor has he ever given quality analysis.
I said without Lowry Heat aren't at full strength either... And the way you hype Harden up he should atleast be giving MIA a run for their money... So it looks like you are finally coming to the conclusion Harden is playoffs trash and that Philly will never win with Harden as a 1st 2nd or 3rd option.... Just remember what I told you thou, when those two get back one of them will be as important if not more in closing out the series.... I'll remind you don't worry...
Still doubling down on the loss of mvp embiid is the same as the loss of Lowry since both team r not fully healthy. The stupidity knows no bound. The loss of curry can't b simply b offset by the loss of bev since both team aren't healthy. It's never a simple 1 to 1. Embiid is a mvp caliber big man averaging 30.8 pts vs 36 y.o Lowry And don't b saying Lowry makes winning plays, what do u think embiid did in ot vs the raptors? Hatred of harden clouds critical thinking. It happens.
