FAANG out, MANG in? https://www.morningstar.com/news/ma...tocks-instead-of-faang-according-to-jefferies Darby wrote that FAANG + Microsoft "is not a homogenous group" and repeated his recommendation for the MANG group. He prefers the MANG group -- Microsoft, Apple, Nvidia Corp. (NVDA) and Alphabet -- as a better basket for a rising rate environment, citing "their balance sheet, earnings yield and FCF [free cash flow] yield."
Stocks Surge After Powell Quells Fear of an Aggressive Fed https://www.barchart.com/story/news...after-powell-quells-fear-of-an-aggressive-fed
no idea, but lots of signs tech was already cheap imo. Example, PRLB (former ark fav) has wound the clock back to 2013 levels, but is actually profitable, fwd p/e of 20. (i didn't end up buy this, just using to illustrate). QCOM hit p/e of 14 despite great earnings AND forecast, and new VW deal. GOOGL p/e lower than freaking COKE - put growth potential aside, why is coke so great in a higher rate environment when it has high debt and googl has a mountain of cash?
NET and DDOG earnings tmr. already added these 2 the most this week, won't be adding more in case of earnings surprise and there's another dip... These 2 usually have good qtrs when azure does well, hope it continues... APPS i'm still holding a bag... AMD i sold quite awhile ago. Waiting for eth PoS to scale into NVDA - previous crypto crash saw a flood of 2nd hand gpus from miners and crashed pricing for a long time, PoS could be like that but on a bigger scale. Been buying qcom and aehr the last 2 weeks for semis.
