@TEXNIFICENT is putting together the crew of @DatRocketFan @Rocket River and @jerryclark to go kick Maxey's ass...
Feel the need to defend him? If u haters just stfu about harden we wouldn't need to b responding to the sht takes. Go btch about harden in the Nets/76ers website, see if any us folks on here care 8 years of failure with Harden? That's just u being spoiled, the kings fans have yet to enter playoffs. Literally no one else could beat the gsw and we took them the furthest. Refs didn't want us to win it happens. Life moves on. Now we r dead last in the standin. It is what it is. Harden faltering now isn't proof that he is what he was back then. No one is beating gsw with the refs officiating like that. NBA is scripted as fked, u r quite gullible if u think only one ref is guilty of match fixing. Only series I think he failed us was the spurs. If he wins this series good for him, if he loses this one sucks for him. Not gonna base the results of this series on his career with us. He played 8 great years for us, we didn't get a ring, it sucks, and the break up was pretty bad but life moves on. Focus on the Rockets rookies instead of btching about harden 24/7
Here is their biggest issue Harden was right. There was not enough talent on that team to be more than a second round exit . . . AT BEST These last couple of years proved it to be true. They hate that more than anything The Same ones mad at Harden for "quitting" on the Rockets CANNOT WAIT TO GET RID OF THE GREAT WALL LOOKING AT CHRISTIAN WOOD LIKE HE'S THE DEVIL They even ready to trade Tate. Boogie still looking like the Ghost of Boogie Past Were ready to strangle HOUSE with their bare hands And Had little to no Appreciation for TUCKER They wanted Harden to commit to another 82 games of 44 minutes a night winning at best 50 games only to run out of gas in the 1st or second round So they can b**** about him choking again because he couldn't beat a team with significantly more talent OH YEA. . . he was suppose to do all this with a 1st time coach The reality after Morey, DanAndToni, and Westbrook left was that HARDEN WAS THERE TO SELL TICKETS AND KEEP UP THE APPEARENCE OF LOOKING LIKE WE WERE TRYING TO WIN A TITLE . . .and they mad he didn't play that roll and like Ole Boxer wear himself out until we sent him to the Glue Factory Tilman was not interesting in investing toward to title. . . there was no miracle trade coming unless Luxury Tax Saving could give us 20 a night . .. . .That team was not going anywhere Rocket River
Good takes and agree. In terms of everyone saying he's washed earlier than other greats, I was thinking of a comparison and finally looked up some stats. Let's compare JH (just in terms of mileage and basic stats) to.... *drumroll* Spoiler Larry Bird, another great-passing, kinda slow-footed savant with a wide body, who, sure, had more of a killer instinct and knack for the big moment. LB at retirement, after his back gave out: 897 games, 24.3 ppg, 37.6% FG3, 145.8 WS 13 seasons total, but didn't play much or well after his body started giving out at age 32. (Only one of his last four "seasons" had more than 60 games, and one of them had 6 games.) JH right about now: 942 games, 24.9 ppg, 36.1% FG3, 149.6 WS Just finished his 13th season. Bird and the Beard? I went there.
"Sixers star James Harden registered 16 points on 5-of-13 shooting to go with nine rebounds and five assists. Team officials aren’t concerned about his aggression level, feeling a breakout game is soon on the horizon." well that's a relief
Bird's career ended prematurely because of back issues. Because of that, he's not a good comparison to Harden. I think a better comparison is Shawn Kemp. Both Harden and Kemp's declines were due to poor work ethic.
