Well, he is fine with the child being killed 10 seconds earlier.

I'm good with holding people accountable. I don't need the government to do it for me.

Mocking kids to make a point, even fictional, far fetched ones, is never good.

Except it's not a law. It's a ruling that examined and ruled on a Constitutional Right. Laws can be changed, or taken away based on voters changing representatives with new priorities. Constitutional rights defined by a 50 year precedent ruling at the Supreme Court is such a huge deal that it's probably being understated actually.... all the while a foreigner is calling me "angry" and "ranting."

Sorry that I actually live in a state that has already outlawed abortion now or severely limited it while I have a personal situation with my family that makes this situation hit home. All the while I have to sit here and have foreigners from Europe criticize my post length.

Again... I appreciate your thoughts on issues from time to time but at some point you need to realize that you are talking to people who live in freaking Texas, and you might be a bit out of your element to have such hot takes, and personally attack people who are actually dealing with the outcomes.

Not to worry. Once Roe is overturned, The SCWs will proceed to outlawing queers and then LGTB. The colors are next after that.

LOL Well, then all I can say is "welcome to the real world". For all the bullshit that Thomas and Alito peddle about the sanctity of the Court, and that RBG and Scalia liked to harp on - the Court isn't THAT insulated, and the Court works for the people and not the other way around. If the people lose the confidence in the Court, then the Court is ****ed.

Know how you lose confidence? Discuss discredited conspiracy theories in Opinions like "black genocide".

This whole "second before a baby is breathing" is nonsense. Like before the doctor slaps the newborn on the ass, the baby is out of the birth canal and giving the mother an abortion would not be efficacious. Thus, you are pushing a bullsh*t straw man argument.

I suspected you would not have an answer that would make sense.

Will be impossible to give you the benefit of the doubt going forward.

Where would you draw the line?

By definition, the law often deals with edge cases. They may be rare, but that doesn't mean they don't happen.

You say mentioning the case is a strawman argument. But I am not mentioning it because I want the law changed.

In all your outrage, you guy didn't notice that I am actually ok with Roe v. Wade.

The only extreme position I have seen on this thread was that of DD who said a mother should be allowed to kill her baby even very shortly before the baby would come out naturally.

    Zero outrage from you guys.

Instead, you are outraged at someone who is just asking you questions about where you would draw the line.

No third trimester abortion with very few exceptions, like life of the mother. This was the state law in most places. There was pull back into the second trimester in some states.

So you support roe v wade, however, you call an abortion "killing a baby"? I just ask because this is language that pro-life individuals use.

I do understand that the concept is tough for some individuals to support for different reasons.
