So what? Every single person who voted for Biden in 20 knew he was a conservative Dem 30 years ago but has changed through the years as issues have changed with the majority of Americans.

Joe Biden is STILL more conservative than the progressives in Congress and it’s a big reason why he was voted in during the primaries to help unify the majority coalition against the pure fascist right wing who have rallied around extremist right wing autocratic rule.

But good attempt to draw outrage at Biden to deflect. Even if Joe Manchin in 2050 moved on issues like choice, voting, climate etc. like Biden moved from 1990 to 2020 I’m sure the American majority would gladly give even Joe Manchin a thumbs up.

This is a landmark decision that should not be allowed to be passed in the dark of night right after Republicans win the House back which I suspect is what the right wing extremists on the court were attempting to wait and do.

There’s also a case to be made that this was leaked in order to soften the blow over time. It wouldn’t shock me at all if it was Alito himself who leaked this.

 

Draconian views? My views on abortion are complex and certainly not the same as either party's. I don't think I have stated my views on this topic here.

Abortion rights fall under reproductive rights. Things like you don’t have to be married to have sex and can use contraception to prevent unwanted pregnancy.

Women are not broodmare.

If you want to save it for marriage: good for you. If you knock up your high school sweetheart and have a marriage and keep the kid: good for you.

But you have the right to consensual sex with anyone.

My best friends little sister just miscarried. Beautiful girl. Anyways her doctor had to prescribe her a pill to pass the miscarriage because her body couldn’t do it naturally.

When she went to pick it up from CVS/Walgreens they made scene and refused to let her have the script until they spoke with the doctor directly because of the new Texas law.

She wanted to have that baby more than you can imagine and she was already in terrible depression, and this just threw lighter fluid on the fire.

I hope this never happens to anyone else’s baby sister. But, with laws like the one we have in Texas, I worry.

 

Yeah. This is a ****ed reality.

Why this woman had to take a prescribed medicine is of no one else’s business.

 

And when did this ever happen don't recall ever seeing any one from the left saying anything like that.
