Probably so. They use their version of spirituality as their defense of saying it's a sin, yet cheat on their own spouses along with a ton of other sins. Such a hypocritical bunch of Christians.

Either a judge or a clerk. Either way i think the judge or the judge of the clerk should resign.

The republicans has all the momentum heading into these midterms. If this goes through, I think things will swing hard for the democrats. Bidens extremely meh first 2 years, and Trump being out of the spotlight, they really had nothing going for them.

Now they can run full in on Republicans turning this county into handmaids tale, and they will be right.

as Scalia said a long time ago, SCOTUS has no business getting involved in the abortion debate, constitution is silent on the subject

it belongs to congress and the states

No, but it should be passing legislation based on unpopular opinion.

It definitely does not belong to the states and was settled. The Roe decision was correct.

If they’re trying to remove them from power yes.

You certainly have nothing to lose from women losing access to safe abortions.

Good news for babies. Also good news for the economy -- society needs a higher birth rate.

Take responsibility for your actions, liberals! If you conceive a child, then you must bear the responsibility of raising the child. It's truly amazing how many fail to acknowledge this basic truth. You can't just kill off your kids because they are inconvenient to you. What kind of moral code do you abide by? Abortion is awful.

    GOOD DAY

Right to use contraception, to marry regardless of race or sex, to perform whatever consensual sexual conduct between private parties - are all recent rights granted since the 1940s. Before that, it's up to each state. The argument to take down Roe is going to be that - it's up to each state since it's not exactly enumerated in the Constitution. Legally then, each and every one of these recent and many more rights should be struck down, leaving it to each state to decide for itself. MAGA.

This has nothing to do with babies. Babies are protected under the 14th amendment.

Also the Bible spells out how to perform abortion as a prescription for unlawfully conceived children. Not that you have ever read the Bible or Jesus actual teachings.

Coming from someone who has spent 100 or so hours reading about this from a ConLaw perspective over the last couple of years, as a Constitutional decision, it's not black and white. Just saying. There are stupid political arguments on all sides, but there are good legal arguments on both sides.

Also, if this news is true, it's not surprising at all. This has been in the works for years. Kudos to FedSoc for executing their plans well.

He's probably echoing similar sentiment to what Scalia wrote when he was alive. The difference is (just my opinion), I think Scalia is more pure in his interpretational beliefs* while Alito is troll who will lie to achieve his preferential policy ends. It's really two ways to skin a cat, as they both end up skinning the same cat 9 times out of 10.

*Based on readings plus hours of listening to Scalia in oral proceedings.

You know who else executed their plans well? 9/11 hijackers. Doesn't mean things were looking up all around when the jihadis all rolled out of bed on 9/12/01.

Be careful what you wish for, you might actually get it.
