If they wanted someone in that tier of recivers, no way they're still there at 68. The guys they're picking aren't the guys I would have picked, but they are taking guys at positions of need roughly around the area they're projected to go. I'm not mad at the guys they've taken; they just haven't gotten any "steals" yet by draft standards.
You basically take penicillin for ACLs these days so no worried about that. He reminds me a lot of a slower Brandin. I would have gone with Pierce.
It’s hard to get too upset so far. By the end of the season I’d bet all 4 of these picks are starting. Did they reach some? Yeah, probably so, but it’s hard to argue against what they have come away with.
Yeah it's strange that Lovie's defense is predicated on getting pressure with just the front four which we don't have much of (pass rush) and they still haven't prioritized it yet! Head scratcher!
I see a trend with Caserio drafting players that have fallen because of injuries. It worked out for Mills and...it kind of makes sense with modern medicine and all. Football is a physical sport too. It's kind of silly sometimes that a player drops because of an injury that he'll eventually return from. Apparently, Metchie could have easily been a 1st round guy if not for his injury.
