    yikes

Wouldn't mind taking a flyer on Amare Barno in the 4th or 5th.

Nakobe Dean is a legitimate football player just waiting to fall to some lucky SOB.

Breece Hall should be our next pick if he's there. ****, even if we have to make a move.

I also love the idea of Tariq Woolen in the 3rd. Doubt he falls there, but man his measurables are disgusting.

We all know how this is going to play out. Bills will trade up right in front of the Texans and take Breece Hall....

Then Nick will say we didn't lose a player on that move.

Nick doesn't eye individual players the way many thinks he does. He had a grouping of guys he would take at 13 still on the board. If they thought Kyle Hamilton was a must have, they would have drafted him at 13. Clearly they wanted a lineman and were offered value to trade back at no risk of losing them. Its a trade the Texans haven't done much of in the past. The Texans are positioning themselves well. The AFC is stacked with QB's. How do you beat elite QB's? You grab corners that can cover much like the Patriots had. You also develop a scheme where you can keep good QB's off the field by running the ball. Great draft so far.

I too want Breece Hall but if not him...lots of other places to go especially considering we might have the ammo to trade up. I'd also like to get the first or 2nd TE in the draft. TE's play a huge role in the modern NFL of course and while TE is not our weakest position it would help the offense a ton to have a legit weapon there.

If not offense then...well, our LB core is complete garbage right now...so umm...yeah, that should eventually be addressed.

Breece Hall in the second and Tolbert or Pierce in the third.

But that's what gives me pause on this pick - the missed time. His talent is undeniable but it's his injury history that concerns me. All the talent in the world won't matter if he can't get on the field. If it was 2019, then I'd feel much better. Now, that being said, it's very possible that his injury days could be behind him and changes in his exercise routine and diet could yield huge benefits. I seem to recall a skinny guard out of Davidson who overcame foot and ankle injuries to become one of the best ever to play the game.

A huge TE with great mits is another priority for a time/possession control offense.

Overall I don't have a problem with the 1st round picks and judging the draft a day later is stupid. You can't even judge the picks from last year yet. It does seem like the Texans always get jumped by trades though and the team trading up takes the player I want. Once Jameson Williams got picked I had no problem trading back. I like the Green pick. Protecting Mills and adding a running back have been the most important thing to me going into this draft. We aren't winning this year. The most important part of the season is finding out whether Mills is the QB of the future.
