They signed Kyle Allen... it's expected they draft someone in the late rounds as a project for #3...

Makes it sound like he took him just because he had too much time invested in him.

I feel like they might draft a QB in Rd 2 or 3

    Mills needs competition.

It’s nice seeing some of the usual suspects hating on the picks. They’re usually wrong win some that’s a good thing.

Either way it goes, neither pick was a reach. Two corners in the top 5 and the best guard in the draft right before a run on guards.

Seems we were out in front for once.

I think Bailey Zappe would be a perfect candidate. Played at Houston Baptist, as well. From Victoria.

Kyle Allen is going to provide more competition than people might think. He’s still only 26 years old and can sling it. I loved that signing.

We have enough to move in to the 2nd round twice if we want.

Should do it. Get some more top end talent instead of just 4th and 5th round bodies. Lots more picks coming in the next two drafts and plenty of cap space next year.

Him being a former Aggie/Coog (Coogie? Aoog?) has nothing to do with this post, I'm sure. ;)

I see a lot of people want breeze hall and rightfully so my only concern with him is the kind of workload he had in college could already be worn out.

Seen he’s had over 800 touches in 3 years

No matter who the Texans take today, I would love to see them come away with a RB, WR and some guys who can help on the defensive front seven. Obviously you want them to go BPA, but those are areas I'd love to see addressed in Rounds 2-4.

How about Alec Pierce, WR Cincinnati -- the next Jordy Nelson?
