Smith is the better shooter. They are both 2 way players. Murray is just more skilled with the ball driving and finishing, an area where Smith struggles. So I give the edge to Murray.

Don’t sleep on Murray who I think is better and a more complete player than Smith. Smith to me reminds me of Rashard Lewis with maybe better D. Borderline all star. But Murray is a complete 2 way guy that handles, drives and finishes better than Smith.

Don’t sleep on Murray now. Don’t overlook. Murray to me is a more complete player and most important he gets into the paint and finishes better. Better handles. Could be an all star whereas Smith to me is a really solid 3- D guy borderline star. Reminds me if Rashard Lewis with better D.

I still say Keegan Murray is better than Smith. If you haven’t seen then watch film on him. Just more complete player overall even tho Smith shoots better.

Right now he’s better but picks are largely about projection and potential in the top 5. I’d be okay with Murray at 5 but I’d rather swing for the fences earlier than that.

I like Murray but I just think it’s a bit of a spicy take to like him more than a potential #1 pick. Murray is far more likely to go the Otto Porter Jr. route imo

I will say Murray has a bit of untapped athleticism in him that could boost his defensive potential. Looks a little pudgy from certain angles. I have him firmly at 5 on my board behind Smith/Ivey/Chet/Banchero in order but my board changes frequently lol

He just wants to be the #1 pick

And if he's not picked #1 he's going to say he didn't wanna go there anyway cuz it sucks

Sure Ill take that. The skill set is what im looking at. What concerns me is Smith’s inability to take the ball to the paint and finish at the rim consistently. And if u can’t do this at the NCAA level it’s disconcerting to me. This was his weakness in scouting reports. That’s why I compare him to Rashard Lewis. Murray is more explosive to me and can finish which is an encouraging sign.

We just need a top 2 pick no matter what.

They were actually worried at Gonzaga that if Chet worked out with weights that he would get hurt. Not a long list of players who have averaged over 20 points a game in the NBA who are total toothpicks. Actually, not sure if anyone ever has. Jabrari looks like he could fill out like KD and I think we all would be very happy with a poor man’s version of Durant.

To me it’s either Chet or trading the pick for Bradley Beal

Do you have any proof about that first comment?

Chet vs. Jabari, Mortal Combat, Begin! "Have they started yet?" "Yes." "What are they doing?" "Pushing each other." "Are you sure?" "yes." "It doesn't look like anything is happening." "It isn't."
