The infrastructure bill will help build what's broken.

The campaign slogan was no more of a scheme as you call it than Make America Great Again slogan. Trump did make a huge profit for himself though by selling all his Trump merchandise with his slogans on it to those at his rallies. I haven't seen people flying Biden blimps around the world mocking him like they did Trump though. I guess the world didn't look at Trump through rose colored glasses like you.

I heard a couple of days ago from a big time trump/UFO guy that this is all about the cabal/deep state/devil people/Democrats trying to take control of an ark that has been activated in Ukraine. Putin (like trump, is a hero) along with the Earth Alliance and the Galactic League of Nations are trying to retrieve it. Putin already has control of one and was taught how to use its technology.

There were a couple of other groups mentioned so I may have mixed some of them up. I hope he was F'n with me but I don't think he was.

Yep, democracy is now the enemy.

I knew it would not be long before some start admitting it. I've heard it from a few around me

It is the enemy because the majority is on the other side......and they don't want to lose......too bad they have already lost.

    thread.

"This Special Report seeks to examine how the interconnected challenges confronting Moscow are reshaping Russian policy, and the risks Moscow’s potential courses of action pose as the war enters a new phase. The foremost conclusion is that Russia is now preparing, diplomatically, militarily and economically, for a protracted conflict. "

EU companies are now apparently paying in rubles for their gas, in accordance with Russian demands, a day after Russia cut off gas shipments to Poland and Bulgaria for non-payment under the required terms. This is a really big deal, and a truly colossal long-term strategic blunder by the US and the West, as it shatter the petrodollar system, which to us means the dollar is now worth less as the Russians and other countries bypass the usage of it as an international medium of exchange, which means more inflation.

It also means that these transactions are going to be transacted in an increasingly fragmented manner between NATIONS, and not in accordance with a centrally managed GLOBAL financial system, which up until now has been controlled by certain North Atlantic globalist elites.

This is an epic "own goal" by the western side and huge loss to say the least.

Four European Buyers Fold To Russian Demands, Pay For Gas In Rubles

It appears that Putin's gambit is working.

One day after Russia halted natgas supplies to Poland and Bulgaria due to "nonpayment in rubles", confirming that the country is willing to go ahead with its bluff and shut down supplies to "unfriendly" nations and sending European nat gas prices soaring, Bloomberg reports citing a person close to Russian gas giant Gazprom, that already Europe's fake united front is cracking as four European gas buyers have already paid for supplies in rubles as Russia demanded even as further cutoffs if others refuse the Kremlin’s requirement aren’t likely until the second half of May, when the next payments are due.

    ....

Given all of this, it appears the Ruble is no longer "rubble" after all, trading at 6-month highs versus the dollar...

And near two-year highs against the euro...

I've come to think of the insane conspiracy theories as an extreme form of rhetorical argument -- perhaps in the Trumpian vein of "don't take them literally, but take them seriously." A relative was telling my wife that the vaccine turns you into a vampire. It's stupid, but the point is clear that in any case he fears what the vaccine will do to his body. When you take out the details from whatever the conspiracy is, you get the basic emotional story: 'Group X is evil and not to be trusted, I'm on the side of Hero Y and you should be too.' The crazier you can make the details of the conspiracy, the more emphatic you can sound in your zeal to oppose Group X. Rhetorically, you can defeat counter-arguments with a madman approach instead of reasoned argument. You won't win over opponents that way, but you can attract people who feel the same fear, resentment, and distrust that you do. They will overlook the craziness so they can cast an enemy as evil too.

Two questions... how much does the russian government pay for posting pro-putin and anti-American psots on social media? I'd like to buy a new car so a new revenue stream would be great and I'd like to get a gig like yours.

And second... can you get me a good price on a Okeah, Raketa or Sturmanskie watch? I have a Poljot and Vostek already but would love to extend my russian watch collection. Maybe you have an insider price?

Putin is getting desperate - he realizes, no one believes him anymore about his nukes....

Putin vows "lightning-fast" response to any foreign interference in Ukraine

From CNN’s Anna Chernova and Anastasia Graham-Yooll

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned on Thursday that any country interfering in Ukraine would be met with a “lightning-fast” response from Moscow.

“If someone intends to intervene into the ongoing events (in Ukraine) from the outside and creates unacceptable strategic threats for us, then they should know that our response to those strikes will be swift, lightning fast,” Putin said during an address to lawmakers in St Petersburg.
“We have all the tools for this — ones that no one can brag about. And we won't brag. We will use them if needed. And I want everyone to know this,” he added.

He did not provide further details on the "tools" he was referring to.

“All the decisions have been made in this regard,” Putin told lawmakers, vowing to achieve “all the goals” of the Russian “special operation” in Ukraine.

I bought a Raketa at the Petrodvorets watch factory outside St. Petersburg in 2016. The deals are much better on eBay.
