Framber pitched a damn gem with pine tar-covered splinters in his spine and these 2-run dandies couldn’t come through for him.

Is 5 innings 3 earned runs considered good?

I'm not being too negative JUST YET given our recent history and starting off slow.

However, we NEED to cover some sort of ground in the meantime.

I'm excited for reinforcements later like Myers, LMJ, and potential call ups/trade deadline acquisitions.

But we gotta get there first and take care of business.

I know they wanted to try and recoup their investment… but the fact that he broke camp with the team, with them knowing full-well that he was incapable of harnessing quality stuff to make him a suitable bullpen pitcher, has me questioning just how ruthless/calculating this front office/coaching staff is at the moment.

Certainly not a major loss in the grand scheme of things (other than potential salary that could have gone elsewhere), but hopefully doesn’t establish a pattern where they’re consistently weighing other factors besides simply their abilities on the field.

    Inconsistent lineups… inconsistent run production.

I know he’s trying to find something that works, but I still don’t support Siri and Goodrum getting more AB’s than Tucker will end up getting this game.

For me this is exactly it

Last year I wasn’t worried cause I knew (or thought I knew) the division sucked and if we just got to 85 wins or so we were in. Seattle proved that wrong, but that is how it felt to me

This year I know Seattle and LAA are both legit contenders to win the division, and compete for the wild cards.
Lol at Siri Goodrum 1st and 2nd

I know most of the lineup is struggling

But those are the two he chooses to give the most at bats to?

Maybe he just figures he doesn’t really have a chance anyway with Odorizzi serving up hits and walks.

See if that positive thinking thing works and will it into existence for Odorizzi to pitch at least six innings and give up a maximum of three runs.
