Not in my wildest dreams would I have imagined Harden demanding out and the Nets getting swept in the 1st rd of the playoffs as a 7th seed at the beginning of this year Last year they took the champs to 7 games with an incredibly close game 7
Kyrie and Beta a first round sweep. Picks are looking good for the future. Is KD still a top 5 player? Seems like guys like that shouldn’t be swept in the first round especially with another top 10 or so sidekick. Embarrassing.
This guy had the #1 pick in 2017. Had the balls to trade down to #3 with Philly for an extra first rounder. Philly selected the 6'3" Fultz who's not even on their team no more. And Ainge selected the 6'8" Jason Tatum. Talk about confidence in your scouting.
Most people would say the Lakers because they didn't even make the play in. But, I would argue the Nets had a decent team. Even without Simmons/Harden they shouldn't have gotten swept. I actually place the majority of the blame on Steve Nash. This team looked like they weren't coached at all. It's just KD or Kyrie iso and if they get stuck pass it out to one of the gunners.
Idk why so many people are just assuming that: Ben Simmons is just going to come in and be an all star and show up(he hasn’t played basketball since when?) KD at 34 and with mounting injuries will be healthy all the time moving forward Kyrie will be lock in and focused and show up This thing is teetering on full collapse and it’s a joy to watch
If Philly can make it to the ECF+ I think so, if they blow this Rap series, or get wrecked in the 2nd round, meh.
