Bingo. I probably would gamble on that trade for Simmons in a vacuum but there’s no way I’d gamble on Simmons and gamble on devaluing our owed picks.

I'd trade some scrub salary and allow minimal protections on the Brooklyn picks for Durant. It'd be good to have a seasoned wing like him coming off the bench for 10-12 minutes a game.

Let's assume Kyrie is not offered the max and opts to get it elsewhere, which prompts KD to request a trade as well. Theyre still bff so may want to play together.

Can we get flexible with our cap to sign Kyrie and add KD as well? Obviously we would not touch JG, Sengun, 2022 Top5 pick in a deal. Perhaps we sign Kyrie and the KD trade is centered around fillers (Wall+Wood) and nets picks.

Speeds up our rebuild to basically contend right away while still easing in the next generation.

Chances are Clown Simmons comes back next season and Irving/Curry/Harris/KD/Simmons moonwalks to 50+ wins, but I’m loving the chaos.

I wouldn’t pin your hopes on the 1% chance all of that talent just leaves and the Nets get nothing back.

I'm not sensitive. I'm just very lost. I thought I was writing on a bathroom wall every time I typed into here. Now you're telling me I don't understand how sharpies work. I really wish I was as smart as you and could understand things like Rick and Morty and Stranger Things. Both are far too high brow for me. I only read bathroom stalls.

in this case rest comfortably that your suggestion is poor.

Wall for Simmons? That’s my final offer.

listen, my opinion may be **** but it's my **** opinion.

I'd love Wall + 17 for Simmons. Distressed assets are underrated.

I don't understand how anybody but the Nets could object to this. If you didn't want Simmons for Harden, that's beyond understandable. But if he could be had for Wall + the 17 you do it and you don't think twice. I'd play that son of a b**** at point center and who cares if he'll ever shoot a three again.

he’ll poison the team with his sh*t attitude…he won’t want to be in Houston, so he won’t give maximum effort

I don't believe his attitude is that bad. There weren't any reports of him having a bad attitude prior to this season and even this season it was clear the Sixers were trying to repair things with him. If his attitude was that terrible would they have even bothered?

But regardless, that's just a free asset. He was just traded for James Harden. At that price, you could find any number of buyers for him. So I'd do it. But I don't think the Nets would. Somebody would surely offer him more. That's why I'd want him in the first place.

Nah son.... this isn't a bathroom stall but a living, breathing, two way, medium of exchange.

I'm glad I could clear that up. Maybe preface your posts with "Don't respond"? IDK? Good luck!

Nets would say no for sure, but if we were to somehow acquire him, as long as we’re quickly rerouting him to his next destination, I’m cool with it

not interested in him playing half-assed here before Klutch puts in that trade request, because there’s no way the young socialite wants to play in Houston for multiple years
