You know a large segment of the population in previous centuries looked at Black people as animals or less than human. That justified slavery in their eyes so all I'm saying is no matter what you believe a person deserves, they're entitled to a trial by a jury of their peers under the Constitution. Now if you catch them in the act by all means shoot to kill otherwise leave it to the courts.
That is the most ridiculous comparison ever. The color of a person's skin doesn't make them an animal, even if a bunch of Bible thumping slave owners called them animals. Defend child abusers all you want. I think they are worse than many animals.

Nothing wrong with having a fair trial and convicting and punishing those abusers. Offending the sensibilities of the OP and others like his is understandable, but we can all agree to disagree. If deb4rockets wants to start a movement to repeal the 6th amendment, by all means do it. I won't sign on, but I'm sure some will.
So much problematic in this whole thread. I can understand the outrage. I can appreciate some hyperbole. But extrajudicial killings aren't cool. Lynchings aren't cool. Dehumanizing language isn't cool. Two systems of justice isn't cool. You should take a walk around the block and cool down.
If people were protesting with signs saying "Child abusers are people too" I sure as hell wouldn't back them.

Like I said, I think child abusers are in a category of their own as the worst of the worst. They are the only ones I am talking about, nobody else. I sure hope nobody in here is one of them.
I've seen more defense in treating LGBTQ people as less than human than child abusers in here. That says a lot. Funny how some of the ones defending human rights of child abusers are the same ones defending the GOP stripping away human rights of the LGBTQ community.
Don't worry, I can't change the law to treat child abusers like animals like the GOP people in power are doing with LGBQT people they think deserve less rights.
Doesn't matter the part of the body...skin color, brain, heart, genitalia, a person is still entitled to a trial under the laws of this country. Go and have you one or ten of these and come back with less anger and more sanity.

1st it will be no trial for child abusers, and then it will expand to no trial for X, Y, and Z this is dangerous rhetoric yes, what occurred here is reprehensible, and the courts will hand out the punishment even guys like Dylan Roof get a trial
