    Comics reboot characters all the time and think of them in different scenarios all the damn time. From what I know, this is a 12 issue series that might turn out to be more of a 'what if' than a "This is your new Punisher" if Punisher is running with The Hand then it makes complete sense that he'd drop the guns, nothing is less ninja than showing up with guns to a knife fight.

    No one knows if this Punisher will be the new official punisher, I think Marvel is testing it out though, but those comics are not any less violent than usual Punisher comics.

    Since Marvel is bringing in Netflix's Daredevil it'll be interesting if Bernthal's Punisher will be changed. If not then this story is a complete nothing burger, just another comic that added an interesting twist to an existing character. Nothing more, nothing less.

    Sometimes these things work out well (See Spiderman and the Symbiote) and sometimes they do not.

    Really tired of these fake fans talking about **** they don't know.

    The new logo is dumb though.
