Gonna call it now. The Blue Jays will win the World Series. They remind me of the '17 Astros.

Schwarber is a massive d******d. Schwarber is totally in the right here.

The postgame quotes from both sides are great:

"I'm not here to bury anyone, but it wasn't very good," Schwarber said in his postgame availability. "You wish ... I don't know how to really say it. It just wasn't very good. Guys were doing a really good job tonight of not saying much. It just got to me to where I was going to stick up for some other guys."

Damning with faint praise: "Everybody saw the game and everybody saw that he was at least consistent for both teams. I'm not gonna say he was good because he wasn't, but at least he was consistent for both teams," Brewers catcher Omar Narvaez said.

MLB can't spare a lawyer as they use them all fighting the players in the CBA. When not discussing a CBA, the MLB lawyers go back to their lair and plot which rule changes they can come up that will most infuriate the fan base. Fighting an ump in court over race issues just isn't worth it.

Baseballs hit well are traveling about 2 feet less in stadiums that had humidors last season. For stadiums without humidors last season, balls are traveling about 10 feet shorter.

Welcome back to 2014 when balls don't fly, but pitchers strike out more batters.

I'm very glad MLB has begun checking for sticky stuff. I expect some pitchers are using something (maybe less sticky than spider tack) as MLB hasn't really Will Smithed a prominent pitcher hard for sticky stuff yet, but stuff and K% is slightly down instead of up.

No homers and all strikeouts make Joe Joe bored when Pena or Bregman aren't batting.
