I watched the first season while doing all nighters with the newborn boy. It was ok, iirc.

Agent Carter on ABC was underrated.

Assuming she took the same serum as Steve Rogers like in What If...I don’t understand how that would work unless they gave her digital muscles the whole series...

Based on the What If…? Animated series where she gets the Super Soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers.

    …Like She-Hulk?

She’s become hugely popular. Don’t be surprised if they multiverse her in to the ‘sacred’ timeline for the MCU.

    Never heard of that...worth watching?

    For a non-gung-ho-fanboy, I mean. ;)

    The "what-if" series?

I think you have to have a certain level of knowledge of the Marvel universe in order to fully enjoy it. Like, you have to know about GotG and Black Panther, the second Avengers movie, Dr. Strange, etc.

If you're a complete casual with little to no knowledge of Marvel, you'll probably be bored.

I'm a sucker for most Marvel stuff but I found it pretty boring. It very much reminded me of fan fiction type stuff where they just take existing things and mash them up. You have to be pretty invested in those original stories and spend lots of free time thinking about them to find it interesting.

To me it very much was fan service for the hardcore fans.

OK...is there any reason I *need* to watch "What If..."?

I keep up with the MCU (except Eternals and Hawkeye and all of the Netflix and ABC tv shows).

its getting to the point where you can miss a bunch of this stuff and not be lost.

What if has some stuff that might show up in the movies but they are small. Captain Carter, Evil Dr, Strange seem to be coming from What if to live action.

I'll check it out anyway...it's not like there's a thousand hours of good tv coming up soon and Astros to watch. Should be easy to find the time.

I hate that kind of license the most since it doesn't lead anywhere despite being tied to a big franchise you expect goes somewhere

Hope they give this some in with the MCU where it isn't forced but was done well enough to make fans want it in.

    "What if...Buck never watched "What-if?""

Honestly, you're missing nothing by not watching the series. It just fulfills some curiosity, is all.

It’s quality animation. The first episode is Captain Carter. Some of them aren’t amazing but it all comes together at the end of the season.

This is my biggest problem with most of it. I absolutely do not like the Japanese style of hard angles and CONSTANT FLASHES
