    I agree, mask mandates made sense during Delta, even if it was debatable whether small children under 3 should be made to wear them. But now, at the stage we are at and the data around omicron - they don't make sense and all mask mandates should be lifted.

    I don't think you guys from the left who defend this for partisan reasons realize that there is NO OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD which forces toddlers to mask.

    I cant stand them.

    That is untrue and rude, I am sorry you are not in your woke country anymore and benefitting from that wokeness, but being in Florida - you can enjoy the true racism and supression of the far right leaning DeSantos. It can take you back to the 1930s in Germany for the beginnings of Nazism....and you can see the danger of it...........can't let those children realize others are gay and all.

    Oh, I don't sweat him at all, he even threatened me by saying "people know who you are"....then ran to the mods to delete an academic discussion - and tries to hide behind calling others names.

    I read all of those "Don't let the muslims" into Germany rants by ATW.

    I don't know when he got to be the crotchety old man yelling at the clouds and stopped caring for people, but here we are....

    And, I also acknowledge that saying someone is "Chinese" when I should have said "Asian" was a poor choice of words and can be seen as categorizing and lumping in all nuanced groups into one larger one - which is not very academic, or good of me, and I apologize for that - wasn't meant as it read.....mistakes happen. And that probably undermined any point I was trying to make.....

    You just don't seem to understand what you are doing when you say to someone who is genetically (half) Asian "you benefitted from a woke society". It's the classic "you should be grateful" micro-aggression. You can google it. I even know that you clearly don't consider yourself racist, but if you research it, you may or may not understand.

    And when you say "if you don't like it, just go back to your own country", that is a typical statement for a xenophobe.

    Again, you don't realize it, and very much on the contrary, by constantly playing the extra "enlightened" guy who shouts against Republicans, you feel like you have earned some higher moral ground that makes you "better".

    But these posts are still posts a racist xenophobe would make - even though I don't think that's what you are.

    I will give you that it's not even meant in a malicious way.

    You just don't see it/don't get it.

    P.S.: Also, I didn't "threaten" you. I was referring to you clearly referring to photos of me you never saw on this BBS - because I have never posted a photo of my face on this BBS, ever. So that also crossed a line.
