Then what is a good one (or 4, from various viewpoints), if there's not one you personally like?

I'd like to know what is going on in Germany, from several German viewpoints.

I am wondering how many people have met Elon Musk and came away thinking “This is a good guy I can trust.”

I see similar stories about him being a terrible person in the workplace to deal with that you hear about people like Gates and Jobs.

Musk seems to be taking a very Trumpy turn. Whatever his brilliance might be as a tech entrepreneur and salesman, not a fan of his online persona.

There is a fine line between being a terrible person in the workplace vs being very demanding.

Gates, Jobs and Musk are all VERY demanding. There is a difference between treating your staff like crap vs pushing them to excel, including working long hours and high expectations. Personally I would be more motivated to work harder developing rocket ships and EV's than trying to build a lighter and thinner computer.

OK. I was referring to some of the stuff mentioned here:

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elon_Musk

Managerial style and treatment of employees

Musk's managerial style and treatment of his employees have been heavily criticized.[171][172][173][174][175][176]Business Insider reported that Tesla employees were told not to walk past Musk's desk because of his "wild firing rampages".[177] The Wall Street Journalreported that, after Musk insisted on branding his vehicles as "self-driving", he faced criticism from his engineers, some of whom resigned in response, with one stating that Musk's "reckless decision making... ha[d] potentially put customer lives at risk".[178] The 2021 book Power Play contains multiple anecdotes of Musk berating employees.[179]

the wise man lets the fool speak

"it's hard to impose my will when it can be questioned"

in my experience it's only conservatives who spread disinformation. Progressives spread truth.

the problem with that policy is that many so-called "climate deniers" are absolutely scrupulous in citing the IPCC reports in arguing that the vaunted "consensus" is anything but . . . . So this policy pretty much contradicts itself.

    The policy applies to advertisements.

And to say there is no consensus is incorrect. There are details that people disagree on regarding how dire the future will be and with what probability if we continue on our current path, but there is definitely a consensus that even the "deniers" you like to cite would agree to.

Ideally, Twitter should stop running all political ads and any ads they clearly promotes unscientific viewpoints. If people have a problem with the latter, use free speech (without resorting to politically-charged, paid ads) to change the scientific consensus.
