I think if we get Sharpe then one of KPJ or Josh Christopher has to be traded Two many people fighting for playing time at the same position will lead to someone rotting on the bench while they wait for their turn Plus with Silas's coaching who knows what might happen
i think it’s fine - have KPJ, Green, Josh, Sharpe and Tate at 1-3 interchangeable - and throw in some KMJ at the 3…
I think Sharpe can play the 3. He's got a 7' wingspan. he's already 200lbs in high school and can surely add another 20. Thank being said, I don't think there's enough data on his game. He'll have to prove himself in workouts. even then those can be misleading or too small a sample size. she's basically a shot in the dark.
From what I read about Sharpe and witnessed with Silas we are not a good fit for Sharpe at this time. Sharpe will dominate Silas and be reclusive while doing it. This KID makes Porter look angelic. I know I am naïve but… He doesn’t play this season => Late enrollment (why / how? it’s the most important thing going on in his life at the time & the school will do most of the work because he is a star athlete) => Coach said their relationship started with a lie (character issues) => his dorm stuff is storage => he only talks to his parents once a week. (Remember he is only 18) Where is he living? Who is with? How is he supporting himself? (He is unemployed till the draft, maybe his parents are wealthy) more questions than answers for sure.
I'm not good at posting videos. The scouting report on Sharpe by Floor and Ceiling on YouTube is very good.
It's risky to take him with a high pick. He does have some upside. I think it's worth taking him at 10 or 11 in this relatively weak draft.
Too risky for me. As the video mentions Hardy falling vs greater competition as did Boston (prospect). I also saw Patrick Baldwin fall from somewhere around #7 before the college season to mid 20's now. The Michigan kid 6'8" Caleb Houstan fell from somewhere like #6 before the college season to way down. So I'm weary of Sharpe not playing......wouldn't take it to my GM or team owner
For reference, Sharpe's last RSCI rank: ESPN: #1 in 2022, de-ranked Rivals: #1 in 2022, #3 in 2021 behind Chet, Paolo 247: #1 in 2022, #3 in 2021 behind Chet, Paolo
I hate to be that guy but the Rockets are not drafting Shaedon Sharpe or Jaden Ivey. Unless of course one of them can defend the SF spot.
