It is. It's the only reason why Herb is being discussed relative to Jalen: because he'll be on the first team and Jalen will be on the second team.

If there is a separate discussion of who you'd rather build your team around, Herb or Jalen, then I have missed it. But I don't think that discussion exists.

I'm sorry I missed the original context then. I thought it was because of the attention/airplay that analysts and TV heads are giving him due to last night's win.

I’m just missing a claim of racism on my “OF behavior” bingo card. Anyone gonna make that happen for me?

    I kid.

These two years of sucking have some fans on edge. Thirsty for some recognition.

If someone offered you Scottie Barnes and the RotY award in exchange for either Evan Mobley, Jalen Green, Josh Giddey or Cade Cunningham...who would take that?

    No one.

If that's really a thing, winning cures it. More than a few thought early Jordan was a ball-hogging stat-chaser. Not coincidentally, he played on some bad/mediocre teams during his first few years--it wasn't until his fourth season that the Bulls were above .500 and it took seven seasons for the Bulls to get the top record in their division.

Edit: It should also be noted that not one player who was there in Jordan's rookie year was also on the team in Jordan's 7th season.

I would take Scottie Barnes over Giddey, but not over any of the others. My gut feeling tells me that Jalen Green will reach a higher level of stardom than everyone else in this very impressive draft class after 3-4 years. Go Jalen Green! Go Houston Rockets!

Would you trade 2022 lotto first, 2023 first and MIL pick for Barnes?

It’s cool that the top 4 picks are all going to likely be future all stars or better. Barnes is probably a tier below the top 3 when all is said and done.

Scottie Barnes was my 2nd favorite player in 2022 draft.

No problem with him as ROY.

    It was close for sure.
