    Everyone needs to go back and read game threads from last April. Tucker was a total bust, we were screwed without JV, Click did nothing and is ruining what Luhnow built, etc. Same stuff. Won the AL pennant.

    There was more reason to be concerned last year. We knew we wouldn't have JV. McCullers and Valdez were coming back from injuries and not sure what to expect. Were counting on several other inexperienced starters and a very young bullpen. Replaced Springer with Straw which is much larger gap offensively and defensively than replacing Correa with Peña. If the Astros had resigned Correa and he was having the same slow start he's having in Minnesota then the Astros offense would be even worse right now.

    Bittersweet. Forever love George. Used to love seeing him start off games for us with a dinger. Now he does it against him. No ill will to him as a person, selfishly hope he signs a one year deal with us at the end of his career.
