    Maybe not. I just see the team in a real funk. A lot of times bad hitting is contagious. I also think a front office can lose a team when players feel like they are expendable or seem passive. It is a fair question to consider the extent that the Astro players were disappointed that the team did not step up and keep their captain when it seemed imminent.

    The clubhouse/culture can only sustain huge annual player losses for so long. We did almost nothing in the offseason (guessing on Crane's orders), we have no continuity in the starting lineup, and we have Dusty making more questionable decisions. This is not going to be fun.

    We started out last season, literally last f**king season, 7-10, and then 18-17.

    The doomposting, I really don't understand how you make it through a full year.
