I thought the big man was dead in the NBA.

    Who ya got?

I got Jokic what he did after losing Porter and Murray was what you want your MVP to do.

I think Embid is the better player.

I still think it should be Giannis, but I also think he should have a DPOY well ahead of Smart and Gobert.

Last year's MVP should have gone to Embiid but he missed too many games. They should just make it up and give it to Embiid this year. Dude did lead the league in scoring as a center. Something I thought I'd ever see again.

    Jokic will get it.

I think Embiid should win. I just think he's dominant and impossible to neutralize. Jokic is consistently great but can't touch Embiid's peak. I also just think Jokic is nowhere near the level that back to back mvp suggests. And, in the past they've avoided that situation.

I absolutely love Jokic and his stats this year are mind blowing but it'd be a bit hypocritical of me to endorse him this year after all I said about Westbrook back in the day. I said a 6th seed should never be an MVP and the MVP has to at least be in the actual championship picture. I know Jokic had to drag them to 6th pretty much by himself but really, he hasn't brought them to actual contention so it sucks, but I think it should go to Embiid.

Yeah that back-to-back thing is a huge issue with me, especially considering Lebron never did it, right?

Maybe hardenvolumeone was onto something Embid too dark?

You got Embid, because his name is Joe-EL and you avatar is Kal-EL (DC hero). House of El bias. Plus the Joker is a DC villain.

Jokic took a 15ish win level team to 48 wins, probably the greatest regular season achievement by a single player i have ever seen outside of maybe lebron. Should be unanimous and unquestionably the mvp, nobody else has a case. He’s first in every metric that exists.

I really don't like this narrative, his team is clearly undermanned and AG again with the no show.

Look at Philly's roster outside of Embiid. Would they win 15 games in the stronger eastern conference? Their starting lineup would've been Maxey, Curry, Danny Green, Tobias Harris, and Drummond.

It should be Embiid. As great as Jokic has been, the Nuggets were the 6th seed. With the exception of Westbrook (who everyone later realized was a mistake), when's the last time an MVP came from a team outside the 4th seed?
