That is what 1st got me to notice Chet, it's a shame that is still the greatest high lite he has as a drive to the basket, thought I would see a lot more of that.
Yeah, that's the scouting reports I've been hearing and that sounds like a much more tantalizing modern big man.
VC won’t give him his due, literally every scouting report (and any non biased fan) can see he’s one of the most fluid athletes at that size to ever come out
Ralph was Mobley's comp. Many are comparing Chet with Mobley now. But these kinds of players, 7 footers with guard skills, were few and far apart once upon a time. Hence the unicorn moniker.
Ralph was way more skilled than Mobley or Chet and was was way more fluid than Chet, I don't know what this has to do with why I brought up Ralph in the 1st place.
If True. We would have to move a lot of pieces to make this work fit wise. If the plan is to build around Green and Paolo… Tate, Wood, and Sengun would have to be moved. The fan base would be in shambles tho. This entire forum would implode lol. It’s possible we can flip them for good two way pieces but it would take a ton of leg work by Stone. If Stone does prefer Paolo I’d hope we trade down a spot or two. Hypothetically, would Sengun, Wood and #17 be enough to grab #6 from Portland?
So you admit you were just hyperbolizing as usual when you claimed Holmgren was the most fluid ever at that size. It's amazing that you somehow tried to turn what I said as denigrating Holmgren. You were just wrong as usual, suck it up and move on. Tell us again how Holmgren comps as Garnet.
Read it again idiot. One of And you only look more dumb when you bring up Garnett. Chad Ford made the comp.
Chet is definitely a jack of all trades. I wonder what he will be a master of? I cant wait to hear the practice reports when he's pitted against some NBA bodies - similar to what Mobley did vs Steven Adams. Its romantic to think about what he can do in a vacuum. Heart and desire will not help him when he's outweighed by 50 lbs. His passing is OK. He doesnt really create for others and isnt the center of attention for the defense which could be a good thing depending on how Silas would choose to use him. I dont doubt he can have a play or two per game on the fast break. Playoff time you wouldn't need to hide him (hopefully) and he can still hit 3 pointers in the worst case scenario. I'd welcome that aspect alone after watching so many clanked open 3's from the Rockets last year. IF he's able to put the ball on the court and actually drive to the basket with regularity then I would agree he could be a franchise player. Lots of "if's and maybe's" with Chet just like the other notable prospects. I have my doubts that he will be more than a ultra 3&D guy, but I'd be fine being proven wrong. Im not that invested for or against Chet.
I think he has very smooth handles and good feet for a guy his size. A big guy that can actually initiate a fast break through his defense and then can actually run the break, or he can trail or throw down court, but regardless I think he could really help us generate points off turnovers.
LOL Is that a thing now? Steph is not athletic? Nevermind it's a 7 foot kid blowing by MVP All Star Champion future HOFer Steph F'ing Curry. Quote me where I said he was the pinnacle of defensive athleticism. Always trying to go off tangent.
