Very likely more than that, from a basketball skills perspective he has the highest upside on the team. Shooting and reshaping his body will determine if he unlocks that potential.
Same as Green and tightening up handle, speeding up shot and gaining strength.

 Chet has his game face on, Sharpe doesn’t want that smoke :D

Seriously, do y’all think Sharpe is top 5 talent?

Sharpe is similar to Ant and Thriller in athleticism and skillset but longer than either.

Ant is stronger and Green is faster but Sharpe could be the better shooter of the 3.

    Legit top 5 imo.

He’s super skilled no doubt, I’m not sure he’s athletic enough to be a 2nd or 3rd option on a playoff team. Hopefully I’m wrong and he’ll develop a reliable 3, improve his conditioning, cut down on fouls, etc. It’s certainly possible but I wouldn’t depend on it and wouldn’t consider fit around Sengun when drafting.

Mobley and Barnes were exceptionally good this year. There was a lot of talk about Mobley because of Cleveland playing well..... but Barnes has been very good as well.... he has guarded everything from the 1 to the 5 in games, and the Raptors have really stretched him out defensively.

Right now if I knew I could get Barnes or Mobley, I would give up both picks this year and other picks.... they are going to be really good.

Is he the guy if we get the 5th pick?

    LOL!

Thanks for letting me know not to take anything you say seriously, Mobley isn't that skilled offensively?

Mobley needs to learn to shoot?

    You are hilarious.

I have really dug deep on Sharpe.

He has a really good body, he has good but not fantastic height... but has a really good wingspan at 7'0"..... he is very creative when creating, he has good movement forward and sideways. He has the physical tools to be a good defender. His issues are that he doesn't like contact at this point, his passing ability is promising but raw.

At this point he is a top 5 prospect in this draft because of the tools and athleticism.

Mobley is a really good shooter right under the basket and from 10-16 feet out. He struggles on anything further out.... and he wasn't a great shooter from the line this year. I do think he has good touch and will end up being a solid long range shooter.

Nook. Where are you at on Sharpe vs Ivey? I only ask because I know you really like Ivey.

Too early, everything is going to depend on private workouts.

If he does well he may not be available at #5..... Long armed playmakers with a chiseled body, athleticism, creativity and fluidity are highly coveted.

He is certainly worth taking at #5.

Honestly, I'd trade down but not because I don't think Sharpe is worth #5 but because of my need to add more long 2 way players with elite defense.

Need multiple 2 way wings with length to win in postseason imo.

Wouldn’t expect anything less from a Jalen green hater

Mobley shot 25% from three and 66% from the free throw line.

    Is that good?

I like Mobley's game a lot, but is it ridiculous to say he's not a good shooter yet? He shot 30% from deep and 69.4% from the FT line at USC, 25% from deep and 66.3 FT as a rookie in Cleveland. I believe that poster was comparing him to Sengun as a point of emphasis. Sengun shot 24.8% from deep and 71.1% from the line on similar volume and not many are optimistic that he'll be a shooter.

Ivey could end up best player in this draft.

    I would too.

2022 is going to be remembered as a special draft.

Not saying he is a great shooter or even good at this point, but needs to learn to shoot?

    Come on son?

This is excellent news, it means Ivey might be our ‘worst case’ at 5. Things are looking up for this franchise!
