That's why I want the rockets to draft the Kansas guy Ochai. I already know he is a great shooter even though he is 21. If the Rockets got him along with Jabari I think you are on your way to having the best shooting team in the league as the warriors fade the next few seasons.

I also have decided (really just hoping) that KPJ will likely be moved eventually and the rockets will probably draft a point guard next season in the draft

    PG 2023 PG pick/ Christopher/ Nix

    SG Green/ Ochai

    SF Jabari/KJ

    PF/C Sengun/Garuba/2023 Free Agent/Trade etc

That backcourt would be lethal ;)

    For those who aren't aware:

    Player A = Keegan Murray
    Player B = Jabari Smith

One of the more intriguing takeaways, in my opinion, is that Murray had as many dunks (63) as Jabari had total shot attempts at the rim. Jabari's poster in the tournament is doing a lot of heavy lifting for his image, when he only had 13 other dunks all year.

Do same analysis with Keegan and Banchero.

It will be just as insightful.

Mark Williams at #17 could be a steal.

Any of these guys would improve the Rockets. ANY OF THEM. Chest pounders be damned.

    Of course they would.

Rockets are the WORST team in the NBA for 2nd consecutive season, worst 2 seasons in franchise history.

    Especially hellish on defense.

Fascinating. So the pissing contests, chest pounding and ego stroking that is going on for a draft of primarily ancillary players (at least for this team who already has their superstar) is worthless. Good to know.

Do you always have to take things to extremes?

How is the draft worthless when we both AGREE that any player drafted in top 5 will IMPROVE the team.

The discussion is who will improve the team the most and for the best.

If this discussion puts you in a heightened state of apoplexy and spewing vitriol then perhaps you should take a break until you feel better.

    40% from 3 with over 9 attempts.

    ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.

Interesting. So it would be easier to be consentaneous vs contrarian. Go figure. I wonder why so many need to make absolute statements then. Either way Im good. I've maintained all along I wont feel emotional about the selection and have offered discussion based on the understanding that there is no right or wrong pick when selecting that high and when you already have your star to build around. I wont be pissing into the wind with some of you guys anymore.

Just more reasons why Tari Eason should be a Rocket.

Also amazing hustle and one of the most explosive wings in this draft.

Weren't you higher on Sochan at first or am I remembering wrong? Not a gotcha, just asking. I've been flip-flopping back and forth on them myself so I'm just curious.

Edit: Honestly probably why I want to figure out how to get both and just be set at the forward position. Have some Toronto Raptor type switchability to go along with our dynamic backcourt.

    Tari, Keegan, Sochan.

    My order of preference.

I actually prefer even Jalen Johnson over Sochan.

Keegan and Sochan are not as explosive athletically as Tari and JJohnson, and Sochan not as skilled offensively.

Sochan will not start right away due to his poor 3P.

i love dyson's daniels game. would be thrilled if we traded up to get him in the early teens.

banchero/daniels would be a dream draft. we can grab defensive players in the upcoming drafts. let's get certified buckets in Green/Banchero to build around.
