There's a lot of excitement here in the Minnesota over the game tonight. The first playoff game at Target Center since 2018. Prior to that the last time the T-Wolves were in the playoffs was 2004. FYI it's 4 years to the day that the T-Wolves beat the Rockets in Game 3 of the first round at Target Center. Even though I was rooting hard for the Rockets it was a fun game. The best part for me personally was getting dissed by former Rocket and T-Wolves broadcaster Jim Petersen after the game. I met him at a bar across the street. He came in and was shaking hands and getting congratulations from people there when I shook his hand and then he realized I was wearing a Rockets' Jersey, He said 'ROCKETS!" and started walking away. I said to him "What no love for the team that drafted you?"
I’m really looking forward to this game 3 Wolves have lowkey have a pretty good home crowd. Will the Wolves come out energized and focused, or will they be too hype and lay an egg like they did game 2? How will these young Grizzlies handle a road playoff game now that they have expectations? If they go down 2-1, game 4 then becomes a must-win for them. Who will step up? I got my mac and cheese and jerk chicken ready for this game
