    Factory farming that leads to massive animal suffering isn't awesome. I'm happy to see anyone trying to bring attention to that, even if they end up personally looking ridiculous in the process in the eyes of most people.

    However basketball games shouldn’t be where fat
    Activists go to delay games

    I have to admit, I didn't watch the game so the delay didn't affect me, and even if I did I don't think I would have cared about the delay all that much. If it happens every single MN home game, sure that could get tedious.

    This was in Memphis Tennessee .
    A city well known for bbq and a state where hot chicken sandwiches is popular

    Look I agree eating less animals is good for the earth. However chickens aren’t endangered. I’d rather save dolphins and sharks .

    When did humans first discover chickens and eat them? Not only do they provide eggs. , they have been a stable of our diet for a very long time.
    This is like when you see sharks eating baby seals.

    Ah, didn’t realize that.

    Preserving an endangered species is sort of a separate issue that has less to do with the moral question of animal rights (specifically, imposing great suffering on animals that can feel pain just as we do).

    Clearly, a lot of people don’t take this moral question all that seriously. If the issue being protested at this NBA game was something like, I don’t know, human rights violations in China that people were not paying enough attention to, would the protestor still be mocked for silly stunts? Maybe by some, but probably not by anyone who takes such violations seriously.

    Morey protested China via Twitter and not at a game and you saw what happened to him

    Clearly people value humans over chickens
    There has many videos and documentaries about pigs, chickens and cattle cruelty

    It’s more effective than wasting time at an nba game where people probably went to get food when this freak show happens

    And why do they think acting a fool at an NBA game is gonna help their cause?

    1/2 of the Wolves arena probably hit up Chick Fil A the very next day

    And protesting chicken treatment at a Memphis game? In a city that loves their BBQ? Ha

    Glue and chains didn’t work, so what’s next? Running to halfcourt in the middle of a game and punching yourself in the face?

    How was she even allowed into that game after the stunt she pulled at Target Center? I would think the NBA would've put in a ban on her and that arenas would've been notified to not allow her in.
