Heat in 5, probably one of those series with a lot of close games though.

I can see Trae getting hot for a couple games but it won’t be enough.

    Heat in 6

I've never heard an entire arena chant "F*** [insert player here]" before Trae Young in MSG.

Then Charlotte's fans did it during the first play-in game and I'm pretty sure Cleveland fans had a brief chant going last night as well.

    Dude lives for the moment.

Heat in 6 but feisty Hawks will win 2 and gain valuable experience. Next year for them could be what they hoped this year would be after a strong showing in last year's playoffs

    (1) Miami vs. (8) Atlanta

Miami won three of four against Atlanta, with the only defeat by two points. Given the Hawks’ lack of wing defenders to check Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro (let alone both at the same time) and the ability of Bam Adebayo to switch against Trae Young pick-and-rolls, I don’t think this is a matchup that gives the Heat a lot of sweats. Young can cook and get Atlanta a game; he’s not getting them four against this defense. Maybe if a healthy John Collins came back and played, this could get more interesting, but that doesn’t seem to be in the cards.

Cleveland, on the other hand, could be more of a problem, particularly if Jarrett Allen is able to return for the start of the series. The Cavs won two of the three meetings between these teams this season; however, both wins came while both Butler and Adebayo were out of the lineup. Unlike Atlanta, however, Cleveland has the ability to mash the Heat with its size, and the rim-protecting dynamic duo of Allen and Evan Mobley could leave the Heat dependent on their perimeter shooting.

Miami can shoot, so it probably doesn’t need to worry too much, but it only takes one cold week for things to start looking mighty interesting. I think it probably trends toward a five-game series win either way, but if I’m Miami, I’d rather face the Hawks. Pick: Heat in five

    The heat are not impressive
    Alot of movement and action
Looks like they should be up by alot more.

    Alt looks underpowered and undermanned
Refs are not help. Allowing alot of contact.
(Though I think the heat got a few soft ones. )

Any team PJ goes to just puts them over the top for contenders

I thought Cleveland would have given Miami more trouble and it would have been more fun to watch, IMO.

I still cant believe Cavs let Trae knock them off by himself.

No way Trae can make this series close. If he can do that, crown him.

Cleveland wouldn’t be able to score all series, and their defense is just not good

Hawks are missing Capela, but they could at least explode offensively at home

Cavs would just be Garland going 9-24 and Lavert going 5-16 while Allen and Mobley score on scraps

Hawks might have shot their wad to get out if Cleveland.
    Heat have the fresher legs.
