Bulls have had trouble against playoff teams all season.

    4-0 sweep by the Bucks.

Bucks in basically murder. I agree, I have no interest in this series at all. Least interesting series really.

Bulls are just playoff fodder with no real hopes of doing anything while the Bucks are sometimes not the most aesthetically pleasing team to watch although a great team.

I'm giving the Bulls a game out of respect to their fringe star players though, Derozan and Levine.

    Bucks are pretty classy.

    Bucks in a gentleman’s sweep.

    (3) Milwaukee vs. (6) Chicago

An Amtrak series! Lake Michigan ferries between games! Let’s go!

This would have seemed like a very exciting series at midseason. Now, maybe not so much. While playing home against Chicago is a slightly thorny problem for the Bucks, because Fiserv Forum can be overrun with Bulls fans, I’m not sure they’ll have much to cheer about. The Bulls briefly stood atop the Eastern Conference standings but finished the year 7-15 in their last 22 games; even their final 46-36 mark may have overstated their quality, as the Bulls were also outscored on the season.

A stout early-season defense led by guards Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso crumbled in the wake of their injuries; Caruso is back, but Ball is out for the year. Zach LaVine is back in the lineup but playing on one leg. Up front, Nikola Vučević offers an easy target for the Bucks’ offense, and the frontcourt depth is bad enough that the Bulls enthusiastically signed Tristan Thompson. The most optimistic thing to say is that Patrick Williams has looked really good since returning from an early wrist injury. Now all he has to do is stop Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Bucks won all four regular-season meetings between these teams; while DeMar DeRozan can likely drag the Bulls to a single win one crafty pull-up J at a time, this series has gentlemen’s sweep written all over it. The pick: Bucks in five

No. 3 Milwaukee Bucks vs. No. 6 Chicago Bulls

Scout’s outlook: “Chicago’s a skeleton of what they could have been, unfortunately. Lonzo Ball’s out, and they’re just not the same team. They’ve struggled recently. Their defense is questionable. They’ve had a good year. …

“Milwaukee’s kind of under the radar even though the Bucks are the defending champs. But they’re deep. They have a championship under their belt. They have maybe the MVP of the league with Giannis Antetokounmpo. I don’t see the series going beyond five games. If Chicago wins two games, I’d be surprised.

“That’s unfortunate for Chicago. They need Ball. They just don’t have enough, and they’re just not very good defensively. Are they really built for the playoffs with Nikola Vučević in the middle?”

Coach’s outlook: “I’m going to go with the Bucks, the defending champs. Obviously, it’ll be a great rivalry being that they’re so close (together). But I just think Milwaukee’s championship pedigree and experience put them in a good place. They’re getting Brook Lopez back, and it looks like they’re pretty healthy.”

Executive’s outlook: “Chicago ended the season in a really difficult state given their injuries, so I would say Milwaukee has a good chance of winning in five and maybe even has a chance of sweeping the series. The difference, obviously, is Antetokounmpo. It’s just such a difficult task to find ways to play against him.

“Chicago, because they don’t have and (Alex) Caruso has been injured, (is a different team than it had been earlier). I think at the beginning of the year, when their defense was performing at the level that it was, they may have had a chance. But if (DeMar) DeRozan can get hot and DeRozan can control and win maybe a game or win two games, that may give them some momentum. But from the way that the season ended, the last quarter of the season, you’d really have to take Milwaukee as a pretty big favorite.”

    Scout’s pick: Bucks in five
    Coach’s pick: Bucks in five
    Executive’s pick: Bucks in five
    Consensus advancing team: Bucks

this isn’t a 3-6 matchup…it’s more like 1 of those 1-8 matchups where the 1 seed won 60 games and the 8th seed was .500 and couldn’t match up

Bulls liable to get swept with only 1 of the L’s being below double digits
