That thing was a flagship in more than just name. Its very presence would deny a huge area to aircraft not hugging the terrain. Russian warship has indeed gone and got f%#*ed. Russian say is not sunk or damage, only promote to submarine.
More like losing 7 Ticonderoga class cruisers as that is one third of the Slava class now growing coral, in the middle of a fight for a coastal area where no naval reinforcements are available thanks to Turkey. Also, Russia is far more dependent on the punching power of its surface fleet than the U.S. Navy with the carriers.
At some point, these drones are going to fly and react faster than any human pilot can withstand. If this era of drone warfare is beyond what we saw in the early stages of Iraq II, we might already be on the precipice of another new age of warfare.
