Moskva was the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. No news if the Admiral went down with his flag.

Yet more sign of the dangerous ineptness of the Russian Military. Again those Russian sailors are paying for Putin’s grievances.

Until someone rises up in Russia and tells Putin....NO, or a coupe happens and takes him out, they will continue to die, and if Nato attacks because they escalate, Russia is going down HARD.....their military is a joke....the problem with Russia is whether their people actually KNOW what is going on and are pretending not to because they are scared or really believe in Putin's lies.

Yea it would be better for all for the Russian people to do something about Putin but it is a much harder task for them. Not only is the propaganda and control of information strong so is the security apparatus.

My main point though is less to as a call to Russians but to point out that the argument that Russia has the grievances and is under threat from the West to justify this war it’s Putins own actions that though that are leading to the deaths and suffering of Russian people.

Yes Putin has good reason to be uneasy with the expansion of NATO and the liberalization of Ukraine. By launching this invasion though rather than strengthening his hand and protecting Russia he’s weakening it and harming his own people.

I think we need to break into Propaganda and offer alternative broadcasting for the Russian people.....show them in a Russian language news program the truth of what is happening.

You must have missed it. They talked about how Trump withheld arms from Ukraine. Then he resigned and testified against Trump at his first impeachment.

NYT is reporting that the Russians have taken the center of Mauripol. Ukrainian sources not denying that but are saying that many troops from there have escaped and are regrouping at a steel plant to the south.

If the Russians take Mauripol that will allow Their forces to link up with Crimea.

The question will be what happens when they level and secure that land bridge? Will Zelensky cede it? Will the negotiated settlement allow them to keep it? Or will the West say, nope, we are going to drive you back to the motherland?
