Trev averaged better than 25-6-5 with Vipers.

His form is good and he also shoots just under 80 FT%.

His 3ball should improve similar to Jalen and Scoot when they were brought up and worked with Lucas full time.

Last year he shot .282 from 3. This year he was .337. An increase of .055.

If he can make a similar improvement over the next year or even two he's at ~.392 and that's plenty good enough to keep him in the league.

We need to bring the coach up to the bigs. A couple coaches not named Lucas nerd to be replaced after back to back worst records in the league.

With the development of Nix and Queen going guard in the draft is not necessary MUST DRAFT BIGS!!! Bring these Vipers into camp and let the cream rise. Kabengele may even be a rotation worthy player. Rockets are positioning themselves to establish a dynasty - love to see it!

Surprised Nix doesn’t get more buzz in this forum. He was a legit 5 star and top rated PG coming out of high school (battled the L Ball, J green, Suggs, all of them).

A big true point guard this team needs - will see if Stone’s eye for talent on this one - he’s got his future point guard sitting right under his nose.

if Queen can keep his 3pt consistent then he's a solid bench player in the league.

as my other posts suggest I'm really bullish on Nix's potential. Just cuz he pudgy people forget hes the youngest player on the Rockets.

Love the enthusiasm but must draft BPA, this is a 20 win team, in no way should they be drafting by need.

Queen is an NBA player clearly, he’s ready to be a backup wing now. Nix is super skilled but not sure if he has the speed to be more than 3rd pg on a playoff caliber team. Kabengele is an interesting prospect if he can hit 3’s.

No need to overlap skills and players especially when the alpha scorer in the back court has already been established. You can check off BPA & fit with the first pick easily.

Depends on the pick we get, 1-3 you draft a big but at 4 or 5 you wouldn’t pass on Ivey to draft a big based on need.

If picking 4-5, Rockets need to move up.

Ultimately it will be Stones big board that decides, but if its a choice between Ivey and Keegan Murray at 4 personally I might see Murray an equal player that brings a better fit component for this team. I happen to like the wing situation we have.

Murray makes sense at five and will be a good pro, but imo Ivey has star potential based on his insane athleticism not dissimilar to Green’s.

People are too busy defending/hating KPJ/Green. No time for Nix.

Completely agree. For example if they truly feel a guard has the best chance of being a future all-star but the big is a future starter that plays 5 years for the team they must go for the high ceiling player. With both picks I'll add. Now if projections are equal I'll lean big since they are rare this day and age.
