Short a guy on the bench, so the only real option was Castro (and i have no idea if he was really ready to catch at all today), and it's always sketchy using your backup C this early in a game this close. Tough call but I get the why.
Sigh. Then last year. I said of course he has great numbers to start the year. Crap teams. I expect him to have the current numbers. I said his stuff doesn’t look good. Older. Velocity down. Control issues. But then again. It’s been 5 games. I am willing to put money he finishes with worse numbers then last year.
Sorry. I meant good numbers based on the teams he played. Of course he’s gonna be good against the angels and d-bags. I don’t just look at his era, whip, save percentage. Age, velocity, less command all play a factor for why I say that. What I said is he is on the downhill. I am a fan dude, I am not hating on the dude. I like him a lot. I also gave praise to Abreu. I just see how he is throwing and he just doesn’t look as sharp. I don’t get why you got so butt hurt with me saying that. It’s been three games you are basing his current numbers. He won’t achieve the numbers from last year. He didn’t do that against the teams like BOS, NYY, ATL, LAD and etc. He may get right into this game here.
