First of all what does his hanstring taking time to rehab have to do with him partying? You do realize exercise is only 30% of weightloss right? 70% comes from diet. If you spend all your time partying and drinking alcohol guess what your weight will definitely balloon. If Harden was really serious then he can do lots of things to keep the pounds away while rehabbing, how come Yao Ming got injuries on his leg every year but somehow never appeared fat and out of shape? Harden can lift weights, cut down on food, take cryotherapy etc instead he opted to party with LilBaby. So yeah its his fault for appearing fat ok smh.

Secondly, he didnt help KD cuz he played like ****. He shot 30% from the field along with 19% from the 3 to go with typical 0 offball effort and defense so nah he didnt help KD at all he might as well have gone to Paris early cuz he didnt do ****. Isiah Thomas was the one who played thru injury Harden just gave the semblance of trying to play thru injury. It was just a symbolic gesture cuz again, he didnt do **** on the court and hurt the team more than helped.

Third the rest of the roster is trash cuz they traded Jarett Allen, Spencer Dimwiddie and Caris Levert for him lol is that not obvious? He didnt sign in free agency he arrived there via trade duh. Its hilarious you are blaming the Nets for having a trash roster when Harden is the reason they lost their depth. Its like a robber blaming you for being poor after he robbed you, hello?

Fourth Harden isnt playing with KD and Irving for kicks, he is there as a basketball player getting paid the max. You act like its a great benevolence of Harden to stay in Brooklyn bruh thats his job to play there. Contending or not contending is just supposed to be a bonus if he is there he should be playing. Putting on his fatsuit and faking injury you know thats morally not right any way you slice it. Irving is a part time player so what he aint getting paid. What about Harden? He is collecting his checks in full he should be there playing instead he put on his fat suit snd started acting like a b**** so Nets will trade him to Philly.

Fifth he did screw over Russ cuz he got him to play in the Rox and then left him alone when they sucked. He also screwed KD over cuz they lost Jarett Allen, Levert and Dimwiddie cuz of him. Its not like KD was actively recruiting Harden, Harden was the one who approached him. He told KD he wanted to be part of a big 3 and then dipped when the going gets tough. I mean how black and white can this be? Harden screwed KD over period, KD had Allen, Levert and Dimwiddie prior to Harden now he doesnt. You typing "lmaoooo" doesnt change the facts.

Finally, yes I am objective I have no dog in this fight Im not a nets nor a philly fan. Im also not a kd and harden fan cuz they arent on the rockets. You are clearly the one biased here notice how you have no logical argument or rebuttal to say other than "LMAOOOO". Thats not the sign of an objective person cmon man.

    Rewriting history is fun.

“Harden screwed Westbrook by leaving him alone when they sucked”

The “they” who sucked was Westbrook.

Westbrook requested a trade and was granted it long before Harden left Houston….

    “Objective”

Why do you think he requested a trade? Could it be that he felt scapegoated for our 2020 playoff loss?

Why do you think that makes it right or excuses anything?

If you think this excuses anything, you should not have a problem with Harden, since he is the scapegoat for everything.

Given that you haven't followed the conversation, it looks like you don't understand the context of my post.

However, it looks like you've misapplied "scapegoat". Harden isn't a scapegoat b/c he was actually at fault for a lot of the problems.

Why don't you try reading the post I was responding to? And then reading the post that was responding to? You know.....context....

    Come on bro!

The guy making super max money who had negative win shares, negative bpm, negative vorp and negative WAR in the 2020 playoffs. THAT guy was the scapegoat for our troubles.

He didn’t deserve any blame, he played amazing! Shameful that anyone would believe for one second that Westbrook was a bad basketball player that postseason and that he played the biggest role in our exit.

Westbrook is always the easy going, do whatever it takes for the team guy and he has shown that over his entire career pre and post Houston. Downright sinister that folks would blame him for anything. He has literally bent over backwards at every stop of his career to do what’s best for the team!

The fat bearded guy who led us in all those winning numbers. It was his fault. He deserves the blame. But that’s life…everyone loves Harden and everyone hates Westbrook so they make up alternate realities to prop Harden and go out of their way to lie about Westbrook and act like he’s the problem.

We knew exactly the kind of player Westbrook was when we brought him here, and he performed as expected.

So was it Westbrook's fault? Or the fault of the person/people who brought him here?

if you ask me people hate Harden AND Westbrook and only prop up Westbrook when they want to bash James and pretend like he should have won a title playing with first ballot HOF Westbrook.

WB played bad against the lakers but he was coming off injury and the bigger problem was simply we could not guard lebron and AD and their others made enough outside shots to punish us if we tried to double.

Yeah, it was Tillmans fault, nobody has said otherwise.

What does that have to do with your hate of Harden?

Anyway not getting caught up in your trolling, I have responded to you already too much.

How do you know this? You dont know what he was doing. I say"lmao" because your arguments come from no place except your thick head. He spent the whole summer pretty much rehabbing that hammy which was made WAY worse by playing on it in game 7. Again, how do you know what he's doing? You think just because you see him in pics with little baby, he wasnt doing his rehabb when in reality you dont know ****. He's "in shape" now and he's still playing like ass. Hamstring injuries take their toll on people.

Who was taking the ball pressure off of KD? His stats were not pretty but in both(games 5 and 7) of that series KD doesnt go crazy with scoring if Harden doesnt play. Because Harden takes some of the shot creation responsibilities away from him. It was either Harden plays or replacement level scrub Mike James plays. And say what you want but the defense still respected Harden enough to go at him in all three of those games. Please tell me again how you are "objective." Its likely that Brooklyn doesnt even get to game 5 if Harden doesnt play simply because the defense had to account for him. This posts reads like someone who is a very angry ex and not "objective."

Im not taking about the Nets roster that year(it was actually good that year). Im talking about this year when they traded Laundry Shamet for Jevon Carter(who they cut LOL), signed James Jones(who they cut LOL), had to play David Duke(who dosent play now), Kessler(Edwards who plays now because he has to and is a rookie), Lamarcus Aldridge(who is not good, and a terrible fit with Harden), DeAndre Bembry(who they cut again looool). That was what Harden was playing with THIS season. Normally this all would be fine with a superteam but you had an anti vaxxer on the team who wouldnt play and left his teammates out to dry.

When one of your co workers chooses not to go to work and leaves you hung out to dry and when you are coming back from the worst injury of your career you tell me how you would feel? Contending is why Harden is there to play. That's not a bonus for these guys. That is the reason. Lmao I love how you only care about the money side of things and not the actual basketball its hilarious. But I'll play, his salary matters because that's salary you are doing noting with to help the team. There IS NOT FAT SUIT YOU GOOFBALL. That's just something you read on twitter and just magically believe. He dogged it FOR ONE GAME. ONE GAME. And even then we dont know if he dogged it because they man was still rehabbing his hammy when he got to Philly. Harden was one of the league leaders in minutes and before he got traded played more games as a Net THAN BOTH IRVING AND DURANT. He averaged 23, 10 and 8 on 58 TS% as Net this season.
Russ sucks. We couldnt win with him. Russ wanted to leave as well. He didnt like how the Rockets were ran. Lmao Lebron got him to play in LA and guess what, he's getting "screwed over" there too. They got Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and 2 picks from that trade. Cry harder. KD and Kyrie did recruit Harden. That's not what happend at all lmao. And Brooklyn might not have been Harden's first choice, it might have been Philly, we really dont know. Harden is 32 years old, he stuck around in Houston when it was tough here. He came to Brooklyn for a super team and it wasnt there. I'll say it for you again SO YOU CAN UNDERSTAND. IRVING WAS A PART TIME PLAYER BECAUSE HE REFUSED A COMPLETELY SAFE SHOT AND LEFT HIS TEAMMATES OUT TO DRY. Irving screwed over the team, not Harden. Harden would still be there if Irving just took the shot. Me typing "lmao" is because your arguments are really really bad.

I dont rebuttal you anymore and just laugh because your arguments are terrible. Imagine blaming someone for wanting to leave because his teammate would not get vaxxed and hung him out to dry.

Only Harden fans blame Tillman exclusively. Anyone objective knows that the trade doesn't happen without Harden's approval.

I don't hate Harden at all. I simply recognize him for the player he truly was. 10 years down the road, his legacy will be a lot closer to my opinion of him than yours.

Who the **** cares about a player's legacy?

    Other than the player himself?

"Legacy" in the sense of how he'll be remembered.

You and I see two different Hardens. In 10 years, the mainstream opinion of Harden's legacy will be a lot closer to what I see than what you see.

That Westbrook has chosen to deny his shortcomings and not changed his game to adjust and season after season become even more of a shell of his former self, destroying any teams chance at serious success is 100% his fault.

Whose at fault for why we ultimately pulled the trigger on bringing him here is shared by more than just 1 person and who of those people deserves exactly what % of the blame will likely never be known. I certainly am not of the belief that Harden shares 0% of the blame for the extreme **** up. I also don’t think he holds 100%. We have all seen and heard the reports of the rift between Harden and Paul. On that particular end I’d probably lean to more Hardens fault then Paul’s, but again I don’t see it as 100% Harden.

We have all also seen and heard the various quotes from our owner. TF calling CP3s contract the worst he’s ever seen. The quote of him saying his front office guys at the end didn’t really want to pull the trigger and he claimed “we’re going for it!”

We also have an insider here who has claimed he has heard that Harden was interested in adding Westbrook to Paul and himself and was indifferent about actually trading Paul for Westbrook. Maybe that’s true maybe it’s not, who knows?

All this is to say it’s beside the point of the original post you responded to. The guy who was claiming to be the “objective” “voice of reason” had easily identifiable inaccuracies in his post that I pointed out.

Westbrook was 31 when he joined us. Is there anyone who actually thought he was going to recognize his shortcomings and adjust his game? If so, those are probably the same people who believed that Dwight Howard could drastically improve his post game in his 10th year in the league. At some point, a player is who he is.

TF is also a businessman, and at the time, the Rockets' 2 biggest assets were arguably Harden and Morey. For all of his bluster, I can't imagine that a successful businessman would force a trade that would intentionally alienate his 2 biggest assets.

In a way, Harden did screw over Westbrook. Westbrook became the scapegoat, and Harden let it happen. I guess that was to be expected. Harden has a history of not sticking up for his teammates.
