Would be two wins on the same day for those watching in Houston (even though Julia still has 114 minutes of her birthday left in Phoenix).
A wins a win but hopefully it doesn't come down to the wire tomorrow. Also here's to more than 2 runs tomorrow.
Siri walking the tightrope but he can easily be lightning in a bottle. Love the aggressiveness. Great win, love the close wins.
Solid win. Hey siri you did well. Ryan really looks shaky. I get nervous when he is on the mound. Get the funny feeling might be downhill from here. Abreu maybe can work up to that level. That 101 pitch was nasty.
Man, we could have been the only undefeated team in the league if we'd fielded a proper batting lineup in that Angels loss...
That should get changed back to a double. It was a poor effort by the 3B, but it was hit hard right down the line forcing the 3b to backhand the ball quickly and he didn't.
I was thinking if that was an error because he didn't get to the ball then Adell should have been charged with at least 2 errors.
In worse shape. For those who can't stand a player over 30, Yuli and Uncle Mike make a great counter point as hitters and JV makes a great counter-point as a pitcher. Perhaps they are the statistical exceptions, but I love the exceptions.
Is that because he is the closer and pitches the 9th in tight ball games? Because he has a 0.00 ERA and a 0.67 whip and is 3/3 so far. Last year 2.25 ERA and 0.95 whip. Pretty much lights out and his stuff looks nasty this year again.
Super early stat blast but the Astros centerfielders are collectively 3rd in the majors in WAR so far: Hitting .391/.440/.652 with a .261 ISO and 213 wRC+ on a .500 BABIP (lol) By Fangraphs WAR, the Astros CF group was collectively 2nd most valuable last year.
