you are real cranky today huh? Fell on your head again or what The raptors having even betting odds with the sixers when their best players didnt even make the all star game is laughable
I dont really watch the raptors much either. They are really boring to me. But looking at his numbers Siakam had 1 good run as second fiddle to kawhi and then was terrible last playoffs. He shot 30%
By the way you post, you fell on your head years ago. Last of the Harden nutsuckers left on this site
For Harden, he has few things he needs to do: Not have historically horrid playoff performances in any games. Go out fighting like a fighter rather than sulking when things don't go his way. Play huge and carry his team to a win during a critical game. Do not let your team lose in the 1st round. The standard is absolutely high for Harden and for good reason, he's done a lot of talking in the past and has shifted teams twice now in the last year. The haters will not go away if he underdelivers and unfortunately for him, the fact that he is not moving well, has 0 lift, looks fat, etc does not bode well for him right now unless he hits some stride in the playoffs. People won't even care to give him credit if Embiid has a god-like playoffs (similar to Dream runs or Nowitski in 2011), unless Harden has good stats to go along with it.
Playoff series odds favor the Sixers at - 185/190 & +160 for the Raptors. (bet 185 to win 100 on Sixers | bet 100 to win 160 for Raptors). I expect the Sixers to win in 6 or 7 as they are just more talented, better and have the only superstar and MVP level player in Embiid. That said I wouldn't be shocked if the Raptors pull of an upset due to Thybulle missing games & if Harden doesn't elevate his play substantially from the past month.
Their offense/spacing is a lot better with Danny Green starting. Thybulle and Paul Reed (if that dumb ass Doc plays him) could wreak a lot of havoc in the passing lanes in the second unit...two guys that could each get five steals/deflections and a couple blocks each. Harden will have a week off. He played really well in the first few games with the sixers because he had time off.
Winning a championship as the alpha will definitely absolve him from the critics. But even if the Sixers get beaten by a better team (Bucks, Celtics, or Suns), he needs to absolutely dominate and carry the team on his shoulder every single game to give his fans some stuff to defend him. He can't afford to have those sudden disappearing acts in crucial moments. It's a lot to ask for a guy in decline and may not be totally fair. But he brought it on himself quitting on the second team within two years.
No one will care or very few Think about Gary Payton - Who brings him up in the . .. Don't HAVE A RING Convo?? No one cause he got one . .. . and he was far from the alpha on that team Rocket River
Underrated storyline in this thread - Doc has been a dumb playoff coach Also lol.... Windhorst would vote for Embiid. Why does that man still have a vote
