So we need Sharpe to declare?

Wonder if Green reps us at the lottery.

We need BIGS. Whatever we do with that pick I hope its a high upside big and I mean 6'10" and higher BIG. I'm tired of 6'6" guys in the paint. This Dieng guy intrigues me from just that standpoint. If we walk away with Holmgren - 7'0" / Smith - 6'10" / Banchero - 6'10" AND Dieng - 6'10" I'm ecstatic. We have plenty of guard talent especially if we keep KPJ. Need guys who swallow up the vertical space to differentiate us from the rest of the league. Screw small ball. I like how Garuba started to come on at the end of the season with blocking shots and taking on defensive assignments. If we were to move out all of the old guard and just keep what we have from the last draft and this draft and the few pick ups we could be looking at:

    P.G. - Porter Jr. - 6'5" / Nix - 6'5"
    S.G. - Green - 6'4" / Christopher - 6'5" / Mathews - 6'5"
    S.F. - Dieng - 6'10" / Martin Jr. - 6'6" / Lamb - 6'6"
    P.F. - Sengun - 6'9" / Garuba - 6'8"
    ..C. - Holmgren - 7'0" / FA

That is a very young and very TALENTED team. Gonna be hard to find the money to keep all those guys when their contracts come up.

Yeah, this is a lineup i can get behind... just on the bench im not super high on Nix, Lamb or Garuba (though i like them all), and you forgot Tate.

Still too young and still a Silas team (love hate hate feel for that guy) so won't be many wins next year, but a step up in wins and the following year if they can then trade whatever chips they have either for a super high pick in that draft or to add free agents/trade target that is meaningful, that's the "jump" year - eg to mid 40s+ wins.

I think teams in that range would be interested in KPJ, he is a more known commodity and is ticking upward.

Don't know if Duren is that valuable, but if we are only talking about moving 4 to 6 places, I don't think it's that crazy to think somebody would be interested.

Not only in college but against inferior competition in a lesser conference.

He was not elite when he went against better competition just look at how many points in the paint Memphis and Arkansas had.

I don't see elite at all he has been very good blocking shots as a help defender and no great post player went at hit him, so the jury is out on that.

    Needle scratch.

Going to be a lot of people changing their takes about Paolo since Green is on board.

It's funny that Green can call somebody little bro.

Its absolutely the wrong way to build your organization. Having kids decide who should be drafted and/or signed is a recipe for disaster.

I don't disagree with you. And looking at the interview Jalen honestly look like he has not put much though into it.

I like the D. If he learns to shoot he’s gonna be really good in the NBA

One of best 2 way players in draft.

Comp is bigger Tate with 3ball and can rim protect.

You might be right given his late season performance. His potential is clear, it would be wise to move him if it gets 4 to 6 spots on the Brooklyn pick.

My prediction on the ‘Crystal Ball’ thread was the Rockets taking Paolo at 2 over Chet. It was tongue in cheek but it could conceivably be a good move.

he looks really good to me. Wish he was a little taller but he plays big. Good looking 2-way player.
