Cabo Bob's is an Austin original. They, as in the owner, mightve come from cali but it doesnt take away the fact that there are only Cabo Bob's in Texas, making it an Austin original.

Tacos La Bala has good Burritos too. I've only been to the Bellaire Blvd location, but there are several locations across Houston.

Love me the burrito from Chilantro.

And B-Bob, are you serious? SF is known as the birthplace of the mission-style burritos. I'm typically not fond of the Mexican when I go out there, but the burritos and tacos can be outstanding.

Burritos are a Cali thing. Not a fan.

Okay, bud. They sure weren’t a thing when I grew up in Texas. Maybe at Taco Bell…

Never ate Taco Bell until college and have never been a fan. There were burritos in South Tex and the Valley and in San Antonio back in the 70's/80's that I know of. Growing up in Westside Htown we were a La Hacienda/Ninfa's family, can't vouch for LaHacienda's burrito situation. The local MexiMarket had tacos/burritos/tortas (that's where I learned what a torta was), and once I was in HS every innerloop late night taqueria we went to had burritos on the menu.
