    Why couldn't that one by Alvarez have been with one out. In hindsight Pettis should have at least forced the issue and sent Maldy.

    Maldonado is maybe the only runner in MLB that you don't send on Adell there. And even then it's questionable, Pettis potentially robbed us of some comedy.

    Speed is not really a requirement for a leadoff hitter anymore. When Bregman is himself he has a great on base % and that is more important than speed. Im not sure Bregs is below average speed either. Maybe when he’s trying not to tear his hammy again, like last year, but when he is healthy his speed is ok.

    So far Dusty’s lineup is 2-14. Both hits by Pena.

    Funky lineups last night and today. 9 scoreless last night plus 4 scoreless so far today.

    whatever Im not gonna lose my mind in game 4. Its just a little annoying right now.
