Not sure I understand. I was just pointing out that he cannot run for president. If he could, I would support him.

It was clear Trump was running his presidency on his own. Obama was for the most part running his presidency. Bush Jr, lesser so.

Its very obvious Biden isnt running his presidency. I seriously doubt he came up with the idea of bring in a bunch of tik tok influencers on zoom. Some guys refuse to listen to anyone (Trump) and some guys completely rely on his staff (Biden). There is a middle ground to be found.

Now imagine if Musk gets firmly in DeSantis ear. Musk has a lot of Twitter influence to push his ideology. All he needs to do is trigger the ultra left to become the Conservatives next hero like Trump.

DeSantis with Musk in the background? I'd love it.

I read in the Sun Sentinel today that Florida's CFO is lobbying Musk to move Twitter to Florida.

I actually think charging people for Twitter makes a lot of sense and would clean up the platform a lot. It's such a cesspool but if people had to pay $3 a month a lot of fake accounts would go away since they would be tied to their real name via credit card.

Ironically, one could argue this is in a sense a form of censorship since you are eliminating anonymity which can be used against someone. But on the other hand, I think it's overall healthy for the platform.

Being on twitter isn't an entitlement. Attaching a credit card, prepaid or not, is not the only way ones identity can be discovered.

As I mentioned elsewhere, you dont need to force people to pay for twitter content. The platform simply needs to put some amount of friction for mass posting of content. I would happily filter out any messages from anyone who wouldn't pay $1.00 a month.

    Musk learned from Trumps errors.

So basically people are saying that Twitter should throw out their terms of service and ban all the bad guys from the platform or people we don't like, but allow anyone who behaves badly a pass if they are someone important.

yeah, that sounds great for free speech and a healthy community.
