Hispanic immigrants who come to the US come to work and send money home. They weren't born in a ghetto. The problem isn't black people are angry about the past, the problem is they are still suffering from the past. Anyway let's stop derailing this thread and start a new one

Where do I blame Republicans for the murder rate? Given how much you cry about people putting words in your mouth, don't you think this is highly hypocritical? Blacks are born with a massive inequality - wealth and social status, and too many black children lack a father figure / role model to provide the necessary guidance. So yes, it's socioeconomics and trying to blame yourself for crime isn't productive. We've been through this - children aren't magically going to realize - "Oh, I shouldn't blame the past and magically I won't be a criminal" - that's just absurd thinking and you know it.

The thread started off blaming Republicans. When someone says derailment they are usually referring to start of the thread Black have to let go. A rape victim as unfair as it is has to get past the rape. Ultimately we have to do the Reconciliation. White people or the government can't do it

We value ourselves in dollars. It's a fundamental problem that needs to be addressed. It creates so many problems, from crime to lack of wealth accumulation from blowing money trying to be cool

I remember one time he claimed no one in the black community cared and I even linked him to national and local organizations that do care and work...he just ignored it and moved on of course because he cares more about just talking about how much black people suck and how hispanic people are much better than blacks and other people as well. He's t least persistent, I guess. He then pretends to speak for every black community in the country, ignoring he's literally talking about again, 1% of a population and applying it to the other 99% Honestly, the talking points are just tired. These same talking points for 50 years now, ignoring all data and stats and history and just railing on about how criminal black people are...but it's good, it's cool. I get to see who likes his Uncle Ruckus inspired posts and learn a thing or two about people.
In all honesty, I think you have created a very strange narrative in your head to justify feeling superior to your fellow blacks. It's impossible to have a logical conversation with you - you get really emotional and lash out with little provocation.

What is it that you think this study is proving? They looked at the prior records and self-reporting of a sample of already incarcerated serious offenders and concluded that the minority offenders in the sample were not differently treated by the criminal justice system than the white offenders. The very setup of the study was not designed to test whether or not different races have different levels of criminality or why. The only information they looked at was the criminal history and self-reported criminal behavior of already incarcerated people in the year before their incarceration. What they found was the white criminals had similar criminal history and self-reported criminal behavior to the black criminals.
