[Movie] Red Rocket 2021

Indie movie about a redneck napoleon dynamite named after a dog penis.

 

Has anyone seen this? Probably means more to me since I’m so familiar with area, but what a flick. If you have spent time fishing Galveston Bay, or are familiar with Texas City, La Marque, and San Leon (@CCorn ) , this should be a must see. Like The Florida Project, it’s not a feel good flick. You may laugh a bit, but you also might feel a bit guilty for doing so. It’s all about people living on our the margins of society and the poor choices they make. I saw SO many places I know….it’s ridiculous.

 

I saw all the local FB groups talking about it when it came out.

 

It's on the list, for whenever it streams somewhere

 

I like just about every A24 movie that's come out.

This is another indie movie I think is a must see.

 

And obligatory/ (I do find it funny that the ad at the bottom is for some K9 food)
