    very reasonable. Mine is slightly different. ivey over griffin in the rockets specific list just because I view him as a tier above. jabari over chet in the overall. I just think the elite shooting and wing defense gives him a higher floor.

    He’s maybe the best shooting big to come out of college not named Durant …and he can play D. Very worthy of the first pick.

    he could look pretty nice next to Sengun. Would punish anyone doubling him in the post knowing that we have Jabari in the corner for the kick out.

    i don’t get it on Griffin. I know he’s a good shooter but he’s undersized, and pretty average defender. I don’t see him as a top 10 pick in any normal draft. I agree with you that Ivey is in a different tier. But with KPJ’s emergence it doesn’t make sense to draft another combo guard. We basically have to give Christopher minutes at the 3 to make it work as is. I’m a BPA guy but I think we have to get a cornerstone player with our 1st pick. Griffin is not that and Ivey blows up the developing core we have.

    if we don’t get a top pick we should try to move our picks in a package for a good young player.

    Admittedly I watched more of Chet this year because i wasnt quite as high as you last year on Mobley, but I watched a decent amount of Mobley last year at USC, too.

    Chet, IN COLLEGE, is the most elite defender I've seen in maybe 2 decades+.

    the IN COLLEGE part is obviously a big caveat, because aside from the occasional play here and there, no elite dominant BIG BIGS went at him... but even in those select times, he did ok. No, he didn't stop EVERYONE ALL THE TIME, lol, so you will see plenty of "look at this dude score on Chet!" takes... yeah, its basketball, people score sometimes...

    Bruh I like Chet but that's just... Idk

    Emeka Okafor easily.

    Then you have more recent guys like Anthony Davis and Hunter. All were so elite defense had them winning it all. If you want to filter by just freshman you still have Davis off the top of my head.

    This guy is only 18 years old, 6’10 and can do it all.

    I like this kid better than Jabari if he’s really 6’10

    Flashes big time 2 way potential. Can handle the ball and pass too.

    That last part is what’s enticing.
    Jabari will be an elite 3&D guy, but the ball handling, passing along with the shooting is intriguing with Dieng

    When I think about our roster next year, I think about how to recreate our 94-95 championship roster.

    PG Smith/Cassell------------>Donte DiVincenzo/Nix
    SG Drexler/Maxwell--------->Green/Christopher/Bird
    SF Elie/Brown---------------->Tate/KJM/maybe Nwaba(?)
    PF Horry/Amigo-------------->Jabari Smith/Wood/Fernando
    C Dream/Thorpe----------->Sengun/Walker Kessler/maybe Garuba(?)

    My apologies to KPJ fans; I just never got over him walking out of the gym at halftime.

    I am not married to DiVincenzo, but I think he'd be an upgrade at the point. I want dog defenders at every position, especially PG. Are there any other free agent or under-the-radar PGs out there? Nix may grow into that position for us...

    ultimately when you’re down to a group of a select few like this it’s subjective.

    the advanced stats favor Chet - albeit just barely. And it’s fair to say he played in a weaker conference.

    When everything is added up, Holmgren is the biggest impact defender in this draft and I believe a bigger impact defender than Mobley.

    Having Holmgren on the floor impacts the other teams ability to score a lot.

    Barnes from the draft in 2021 is a better individual defender and an even more diverse defender but he doesn’t quite make as large an impact as Chet.

    The concern with Chet is on the offensive end (can he ever be an efficient 20 point scorer?) and he needs to get stronger.

    Okafor did not make near the impact defensively that Holmgren has….
