Probably not what Chauncey envisioned when he took that job.

perhaps... but i think u could pair him with a strong offensive asst and do the reverse Bzdelik.
Ideally you want him molding a culture and accountability and all the things we've been lacking...
I think at this point, he'd be willing to give up some sideline duties...
i'd go to war with that lil terrier... lol!

If JVG then should hire Bzdelik and double down on D - both from Riley coaching tree.

Keep Lucas and promote Abdelfattah, both can coordinate the offense.

Other than Weaver, the other assistants can go imo.

    So trade Gordon & Wood

Draft a real power forward who can actually shoot decent & help Sengun with rebounding & interior defense and can also set a real screen…… jabari

Do not start Tate. Start KMJ

Draft a sizable 3&D forward with the Brooklyn pick to come off the bench behind KMJ. Hopefully someone with enough talent to compete for the starting job in coming years

Here's what we have witnessed this year:

    1. Green overcoming a massive learning curve without getting down on himself, becoming incredibly selfish or lashing out

    2. KPJ appearing to be on a path towards overcoming serious attitude issues, while showing massive development on the court

    3. A home run draft that includes 3/4 picks showing serious potential, already having established themselves, at the very least, as NBA players and the 4th who based on his play of late, looks like he's on the same path.

    4. A coach and GM who are more patient than reactionary fans like myself, who allowed this development to happen

    5. An understanding of the importance of an elite "minor league" pipeline. (see Houston Astros, the best franchise in baseball for 5 + years)

    This is a winning culture.

...and yet you still hold Silas accountable for an outcome that didn't happen. Returning the "LOL".

2 straight historically putrid seasons has red flagged Silas resume.

No way he wanted to lose, definitely not to lose as all time WORST in Rockets franchise history.

Even the worst of any San Diego Rockets seasons was not as pathetic as any of Silas 2 seasons.

Seems like you just want to be mad as you are all over the map. So which is it? You are upset he won two games in Portland yet you are also upset they had a terrible record. mmmkay.

Next season, I'd like to see them play >.500 ball. If not, then I'll join your choir. After a couple more seasons, I want to hear discussion about contention.

JVG is a burn out that also burns out his players when he coaches them.

Modern NBA is not for JVG.

He needs to stay in the booth.

But Mark Jackson on the other hand....

Both of the criticisms are not exclusive to point being made.

Ruminate a bit more and I'm certain you can gin it out too.

I am not sold on the coach at all - I have seen nothing from Silas that makes me believe he can coach a winning team.

Get the good players first, worry about "culture" later. The winning comes automatically with great players.

People clowned on the Suns and their culture when they had Booker statpadding for years while losing every game, where are those people now.

Coaches are so easily replaced these days, Silas is just a placeholder
