Jalen goes 12-23 (4-10 three pointers) for 30 points v Nets

RJ goes 7-27 (2-11 three pointers) for 24 points v Nets

RJ Is in the closet @jacoby

I blame this loss on each and every one of you.

It doesn't matter to me if the pick ends up 13-16. As long as EJ Liddell is the pick.

Cavs been in the midst of a seismic belly flop for weeks…Will they come through tonight, or add yet another L to the ledger?

Better than we expected at the beginning of the year.

Yep I was expecting the Nets to b number 1 or 2 beginning of the season. Making the pick at best 27-30. picking at 17 is a major improvement.

Well, looks like the Nets will play Atlanta in the play-in. The Hawks have what it takes to beat them. Then it's the winner of Cleveland and Charlotte.

    Schedule on the final day:
    MIL@CLE
    ATL@HOU
    IND@BKN
    WAS@CHA

The Nets is going to win and clinch #7 seed. The Hawks and Hornets are probably going to win as well. The Bucks still need another win to clinch #2 seed so it will likely be a loss for the Cavs, unless the Bucks decide to throw away the game to avoid the Nets. The Hawks will be the winner in any tiebreaker that doesn't involve Nets. If Charlotte wins and Cleveland loses, Charlotte will have the tiebreaker over Cleveland, whether it's a two-way tie or a three-way tie with Atlanta. So most likely outcome:

    7. Brooklyn
    8. Atlanta
    9. Charlotte
    10. Cleveland

Cleveland had a chance to help themselves and sh*t the bed, like they have been doing since Allen went out. But still, at least the 17th pick? That's pretty great, especially considering the expectations we had of this pick coming into this season!

I hope we can draft an impact player, or maybe package this pick with EGo or Wood and move into the lottery

I agree could have been high 20s , in all likelihood this pick will be for the vipers - let’s pick Chet, Banchero, or Jabari any one of these guys will impact the team day one.

I wonder if there is a great shooter in the draft or maybe another player like Garuba (someone that is great at defense) or maybe a Montreal harrel type player. A floor player at a particular skill that fills a team need and low bust potential.

Filling out the bench with Garuba/Christopher/Martin/and the above player could really fill the team out in the future.

17th pick is great considering if the Nets potentially nabbing 1st seed with a fully healthy vaccinated team it would have been 29/30

I think there is enough instability at the top of this draft that there may be more takers than you believe.

No one seems to agree on order of top 3, maybe even top 5.

The draft order is not a slam dunk like 2021 or 2023.

    Dang you Crooklyn.

    Dang you.

But thank you for seven years of draft control for one year of Hard times.

About as good as we could expect this season.

I really wish Brooklyn had held on to Harden longer. He is a fast declining asset whose disgruntlement would have carried into the locker room and helped our draft pick this year and the coming seasons.
