Not as cute as your little baby pic, you had an afro like Moochie! You should like him more, the Francis/Mobley/Moochie years were definitely more fun to watch than these past few.

1987 was a bad year for the Rockets

These last 2 have been awful for sure. Just depends on what happens as a result of what we do with the premium draft picks we accrue for sucking.

The bubble season didn’t seem real

Its not a bad time, yet rebuilding teams have to go thru. But if the rocket landing even 2 consecutive #2 picks and or this year a chance at getting #1. This team might be pretty interesting come 2023-24 season. I like the possibility of having Green and Smith/Pablo/Chet. All 3 players will probably be the #2 option for Green. Then you can start building a team around these guys and possibly get better.

Worst team in the league 2 years running is objectively a bad time.

The worst stretch was we lost Hakeem (which is still a myth - **** Toronto - and never happened) and went through the Franchise years.

Even though Steve Francis was the main cog for the team (and a ballhog who just run out the shot clock every ****ing time), we didn't have anyone outside of Mobley that was relevant.

I hated those years so much until we got Yao.....then there was promise.

These past 2 years.....yes, last year was rough because it looked like a ****ing G-League team, but this year has been fantastic, even with the losing. I see a future core that will dominate in a few years and years after that while the ****ing Fakers and Nets will suck.

Norris, Francis, Mobley years were rougher than this. You knew then, that squad was a dead end. I don’t have that feeling with this squad… yet.

2000-2002 would be the closest comparison for a 2 year stretch but we still had Hakeem for 2000-2001 so there is no way I'm putting it worse than these past 2 years.

This was not the worst stretch for me at all. The young kids and the reorganization of philosophy from the GM's office provides hope stacked on more hope. Last year was a gut punch when the team got blown up, this year is the first year of a successful rebuild and it's already been a success. We have a player to build around and plenty of pieces that could turn out.

This year has been nothing but awesome!

‘Your years are off. The Rockets were descent in 96. Lots of injuries that year. Got swept by the Sonic’s. 97 was the WCF squad with Barkley, heartbreaking lost. 98 was pretty much Houston’s last dance. 99 it started to go downhill with Pippen.

We have something promising now for the future.
That makes no sense. That time during Hakeem's career he was pretty much done. There was no future prospect to be excited about on the team. It was pretty gloom. We have budding stars to excited about. It's about hope. There is a lot more hope on this team than the team Hakeem was on his last year with the Rockets.

Other than the 7 game Garry Bird winning streak, this season has not been exciting or enjoyable. Some of y'all either Tillman trolls or rationalizing hard. If you took out Jalen's past month, how different would your answer be?

Blasphemy. You must not have been around for the golden years of Rockets history. I got to give Hakeem one last standing ovation as a Rocket that year when he came back from injury. I would relive that moment. I don't want any part of the past 2 seasons. It's like saying Laker fans should've been more excited about Lonzo Ball's first season than Kobe's last.

The worst for me is the 14th overall pick years

We are losing now but it’s fun to follow a young stud in Jalen green.

14th overall pick years were so boring with no hope

Seeing the Westbrook trade then watching him ruin your home-town team after being the man's #1 hater for years was a nightmare that I'm still not quite convinced actually happened.

Wasting our final Harden years was much more painful than this. I'd also argue this team was way more fun to watch this year vs last year, where we didn't even have pinned game-threads by April.

Two years of terrible Coaching, in every department! I think the team Management has been
    quite good,
I recommend getting rid of all the coaches and finding ones who coach team basketball and they should have experience!
Try and get rid of Wall, Gordon, 4th pick from last draft, Nix, Y
