I don't understand the complaint? I guess Disney should not have the right to make LGBTQ+ friendly content? Sounds like being against free speech and freedom of expression.

Actually, that tweet is right. Younger generations are very pro-LGBTQ+ waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than Boomers. Seems like Disney is future proofing...

I think Disney execs know what is profitable more than you do. I'm guessing they have a lot of data and also...remember...Disney is an international company.

Besides, we're talking about a creative art form that isn't always meant to be 'popular' so again...I ask...what is the counter argument to be made here? That Disney should not be allowed to make this content?

Quite frankly if you believe there is no 'left' or 'right' then there is not much hope for you on these discussions. That's like saying there is no 3 point line in basketball. What I find odd is that if Disney makes a movie with a gay main couple it would be the FIRST Disney movie...that's right, the first...and all this backlash against Disney because they might make ONE openly gay movie. ONE.
